3925 total surrendered at Mariupol so far
DonbassDevushka Telegram ^ | 5/20/2022 | Russian Defense Chief Shoigu

Posted on 05/20/2022 3:57:25 AM PDT by Mount Athos

Already 1,908 nationalists have surrendered in Azovstal, before that 1,387 marines laid down their arms there, Shoigu said.

Civilians who were held there by Ukrainian nationalists were also evacuated from the plant - 177 people were rescued, including 85 women and 47 children, the minister said at the collegium of the Ministry of Defense.

Zelensky is just a puppet of his masters. He won 70% of the vote by promising to enact and go beyond the Minsk Accords in finding peace with Russia. THAT was his mandate.

Once he was elected, he was surrounded by Azovite extreme nationalists who today control his every move and statement.

(Some call them Nazis, because they profess love for Bandera, and they like to wear Nazi SS symbols, and like to throw out the Nazi/Roman salute.)

His puppet status became clear on a visit to Greece, where he was literally surrounded by Azov Nazi goons every minute. And one of his early-war negotiating team was assassinated by one of the Azov goons for being too flexible, sending a clear message to Zelensky about who is running the show, and under what conditions.

The best deal that Ukraine might get will probably be a settlement where they keep Odessa and are not landlocked.

If they are landlocked, they are SCREWED. There is no way they can survive with a seaport.

Kharkiv is also predominantly Russian, that might also be on the list after Odessa.

The recent push by the Ukrainians has been into a vacuum, they were not driving out the Russians by force. It was a Russian withdrawal. Russia can just slide back over its border to the north, or reinforce the northern Donbass pincer.

But as Ukraine extends its forces eastward out of Kharkiv, they risk being cut off at almost any time by a fresh Russian thrust across the border behind them, cutting them off from Kharkiv.

It was realistic until the West became heavily involved. Now I think it is a fight until Ukraine is over as a state.

I heard there is a fight between their top general Zaluzhny and NATO advisors. They want him to hold the ground and send reinforcements, he wants to pull out a leave Donbas for good. You know whom Zelensky is listening to.

“The situation in the Donbas cauldron is getting worse, the Ukes should pull a Dunkirk and get the heck out of there. Zelenskyy’s idea of leaving them there to grind down the Ruskies is crazy.“

They are slowly being encircled and cut off. I honestly cannot believe they have not pulled out, tactically they probably should have done so this week latest. I did hear rumors that Ukrainian military officials did ask to pull back but were told no. I cannot confirm that, but it makes perfect sense.

While standing and defending every square inch of territory is indeed noble, tactically it is a mistake. Once that caldron closes, and the war goes on, the Ukrainians are going to wish they still had those forces.

"More than 1,700 defenders of the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol have surrendered since Monday, Russian authorities said..."

I stopped reading right there.

Dreizin reports that Russian VDV mobile infantry and Wagner mercenaries have advanced up to 15 kilometers west of Popasnaya and have taken several towns or villages just east of Soledar, which sits on the one paved, continuous, Ukrainian-controlled main road into Lisichansk.

This road is now at risk. Russians are now as little as three kilometers from the road.

Close enough to fly short-range artillery spotter drones over it, 24/7.

Without this road, there will be no meaningful resupply for (or organized evacuation of) thousands of Ukrainian servicemen in the eastern part of the north Lugansk bulge.

And now that they are ‘evacuated’, they can be repositioned to again fight Putin. (although that will be in the afterlife)

Yeah, those guys are lucky they're dealing with Uncle Pootie.

Uncle Joe Stalin would have repositioned them in Starobil's'k [Starobielsk], only 260 klicks NE from Mariupol...

For others: there were two surrender versions: the UA version which was conditional, meaning the people would be exchanged for Orc prisoners and the Orc unconditional surrender which allowed them the kill all Azovs and all who fought with them, meaning most, if not all of the prisoners, would be liquidated.

Naturally, you favor the same as you FSB handlers do: kill them all.

Early on it was clear to me that Odessa was the Queen in the chess game.

Russia control of the entire sea lane is what really matters in this war.

All of the chattering about the inland cities will have turned out to be irrelevant.

Yes, the FSB embedded me here at FR in 1997, and had me change my account in 2002 when they realized my real Russian name would give me away, Class of 2009 n00b.

You could have joined us FR Russians in 2016 when we were manipulating the FR board against Lyin' Ted, but you were wise to come out against that New York dummy Donald Trump...

Yeah—the Russkies put me on the payroll in 1998.

If I could just get them to pay their invoices I would be rich!

You should have joined me when I went to view some of your hero KGB Spetsnaz handiwork in East German in the late 60s - you’d be puking your worm-eaten guts out.

The 1960s called - they want their "Kill A Commie For Mommy" rhetoric back.

Right now, the neocon Trotskyites have full control of PuppetBoy in the White Hospice.

Perhaps you should focus your attention Stateside.
