Russia 'Finding It Difficult' in Ukraine, Chechen Warlord Admits
Newsweek ^ | 5/18/2022 | Brendan Cole

The leader of the Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has told a Moscow audience that his country's forces are "finding it difficult" and are fighting a war "against NATO" in Ukraine.

A fierce loyalist of Vladimir Putin, the leader of the Caucasus republic, announced his forces had been deployed to the battlefield in Ukraine soon after the Russian president invaded on February 24.

At a filmed educational forum in Moscow, Kadyrov addressed Russia's faltering invasion of Ukraine, in which his militias have suffered heavy casualties.

"We're fighting not against Ukraine, against Banderites—we're fighting against NATO," Kadyrov told the audience at the New Horizons event on Wednesday.

-snip-

"NATO, the West is arming them," he told the event called New Horizons. "Their mercenaries are there and that's why our state is finding it difficult.

"But it's a really good experience, we'll prove once again that Russian cannot be defeated."

“He is an autocrat but so is Zelenskyy too.”

BS. When Zelensky declares himself president-for-life in violation of the Ukrainian constitution, then maybe you could make that claim. Until then, it’s just another lie.

“Zelensky is an autocrat who shut down all media critical of him in Ukraine...”

In WARTIME. Countries censoring the media in wartime is a normal occurrence, and in fact, we did it right here in the good old US of A in both WW1, WW2, and the Cold War. That’s not how you detect an “autocrat”.

“And you use libtard Emotional Appeals...”

Stating that Putin is openly governing his country as a fascist dictator is a fact, not an “emotional appeal”. Stating that you are too gullible to believe his actions instead of his flowery speeches is a reasonable observation based on the facts, not an “emotional appeal”.

“Putin doesn’t play piano with his pecker, Zelensky is perhaps bisexual...”

Wait, who is using “emotional appeals” again?

Well, if they haven’t been training for it before, they’ll certainly be training for it next year. I can’t believe that we are instructing Ukrainians to use tactics that we are not planning to encounter on the battlefield ourselves. Someone certainly must have developed a contingency plan for it somewhere in the Pentagon, even if that hasn’t been implemented into the training yet.

Yeah, I believe forces within our government wanted to keep poking the Russian bear by insisting on expanding NATOs borders. Longtime Pat Buchanan reader here and he warned about this cabal. Ukraine was lead the West would back them but Putin was dumb enough to step into that trap.

As for Ukes having a nazi alliance, why wouldn’t they, they were starved by the millions by Stalin so they hoped for a better deal with the Nazis. The ole “enemy of my enemy is my friend,” notion. Hard to escape from the shadow of history.

This is a war of attrition. Ukraine will most likely lose from the standpoint of more men and materiel available. Just like in WWII, the juggernaut will not be stopped. Just wait for good weather and solid ground.

Sounds like Zelendsky didn’t learn from the follies of Hitler in demanding his generals not to give up one square inch in a tactical withdrawal.

If so, then he will find himself inside a bunker with lots of weapons and only an imaginary army to use them.

There are plans to combat space alien contingencies at the Pentagon.

If it’s not in the curriculum, it is not taught.

What has intrigued me of late is the Russian attacks on electric substations in the West. The Ukraine has 1500 locomotives and only 300 are diesel (of which there is little globally). 1200 are electric with overhead wires. I don’t think stuff arriving around Lviv is moving. They aren’t stationary for lack of awareness of satellite recon danger. They are not moving because trains carry fuel and heavy anything. And the trains can’t move.

Russian military officer training is mostly at civilian universities, like US ROTC, which is the bulk of US officers. The Russian academies are similar to US academies with non military subjects taught, as they are in the US. The point of this is the senior-most Ukraine officers rec’d their training pre 2014. They are 45 yrs old and training was 20+ years ago — and it happened in Russia schools.

They were classmates with the Russian officers. They are having to learn the realities of satellite recon just as the Russians are. They didn’t attend any US schools, which would not be training in satellites regardless.

I agree with everything you said there except that “Putin was dumb enough to step into that trap.”

While this may surprise considering I was totally opposed to this resulting in a war and furious that the US/NATO deliberately did it just to take our adversary down/regime change. (Which is exactly the same plan they are working on now for China...another proxy war.)

But, based on the complete failure of our proxy war (militarily, economically and loss of global influence) Putin’s decision is going to result in the end of the “new world order” WEF globilization and lead to bi-polar or multi-polar power blocks and a very bright future for Russia.

I think we are going to suffer massively from this catastrophe for a while, but eventually be liberated from global/deep state control and get back to being a nation with “America First” leaders, “a government of the people, by the people and for the people” and a brighter future.

The EU “experiment, on the other hand, is toast.

I don’t think Zelensky still believes (if he ever did) that he can actually win this war...he is corrupt and evil; but he is not stupid...:-)

He is doing exactly what his “owners” (US/NATO) want him to do; fight a proxy war to weaken Russia.

Over a month ago he reached the beginnings of an agreement with Russia at the negotiations in Istanbul. When he returned he got a visit from Boris Johnson insisting that he renege and offered him huge sums of money and lots of heavy artillery. He took the deal. The rest is history...

Zelensky is a grifter; not a statesman. His known assets total half a billion dollars though others more intimately connected with him put it at a billion. I guess we can just say he agreed to “a hostile takeover.”

I think EU was pretty much toast anyway before the Ukraine fiasco.
Too many eastern European countries seen this play before and wanted little to do with it. Poland, Hungary etc.

Well, I couldn’t blame for not taking any deal that included slicing a chunk of my country, either.

But the more I read and do research the worst this situation becomes and the less I want our country involved.

Too much ancient feuds over things that stretch waaay before America was founded. No thank you.

I believe ya. That’s why 10 GOP politicians voted against aid. If crackhead Hunter biden was sitting on the board of the national gas company, what does that tell ya?

Gonzalo Lira tells it all.

“Oh yeah. 12 weeks to capture a small city.”

we’re not playing Call of Duty or Battlefield here, oh armchair general. Wasn’t the objective of war to win? Let the biden family recreation center called ukraine fall to the wasteland. Effing losers. Hope Zelensky get targetted by a missile.

“Wasn’t the objective of war to win?”

Well, according to Putin the objective is the removal of Ukraine as a state, and indeed even the removal of the notion of a Ukrainian people at all, which they haven’t achieved, and which doesn’t seem very likely they will ever be able to achieve.

Dont placate this on me. America has friends all over the world and we (and them) break agreements. Quit acting holier than thou because that loser country that we should not even be involved with is going down.
