Yeah, you aren’t supposed to expect much rain there, though 9 months is way too long without any. Even in the desert.
We can’t seem to get rain to move through here though it rains elsewhere across the state. There’ll be a little tomorrow but it won’t be anywhere near us. We hope to get a little, at least, this weekend when a cold front moves through.
Amazing, but good, that the kitties’ water stays cool when it’s so hot. That’s a good water dish!
It helps that I keep it in the shade under the patio table. Also, the low humidity causes evaporation which cools it. I have to check during the day to make sure they still have plenty.
It’s sooo frustrating to see rain all around and it never reaches your area. We’ve both been through that so much!
