YOU STILL WATCH TV??? The last show I remember seeing was “THE MIDDLE”, which my wife loved, and I thought was pretty OK. She used to love “24”, and “Going Bad”. 24 just made me shake my head and laugh. “Hon, there’s nothing real about this”, “I don’t care”. And Going Bad? Who could possibly want to watch such a gruesome, violent show about drug pushers (besides my wife)? Quite a lot of folks apparently, as it was very successful. Too many folks have lead far too sheltered lives and have NO sense of the reality of violence.
While my kids were growing up I would NOT allow a TV in the house, so when we traveled about and stayed at a hotel/motel we’d always turn on the TV to see what was on. THE ONLY SHOWS WORTH WATCHING WERE DECADES OLD SITCOMS!!! It’s only gotten worse.
I watch the shows I like on the computer. NCIS, BlueBloods, FBI, FBI Most Wanted, Grey’s Anatomy, Autopsy [on REELZ] from America and some excellent British series. More than one, of course, but there just aren’t that many worth the time.
