Not at all. Even though it may come as a surprise to you Ukraine has bridges, and Russians understand that you can cross rivers on bridges.
If you are familiar with the terrain and highways in the areas along the line of contact it is not hard to figure out where logistic lines are.
High losses at one particular location do matter, since the overall resources available to Russia in the front line areas are not unlimited. Their multiple failed crossings at one location also indicate structural weaknesses in their overall combined arms strategy.
Clearly they were unable to suppress or even avoid artillery directed onto that area. That is a problem for them in many other areas as well.

The Russian air force's flight activity is heavily constrained by Ukrainian air defenses and operations.
