NBC-2.com ^ | 5/17/2022 | CNN?

Without citing a source, Musk claimed in a tweet that Twitter is “20% fake/spam accounts” and suggested Twitter’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission were misleading. The company has said that less than 5% of its daily active users are spam accounts.

Maybe it was developed like Fakebook was. Fakebook was originally called Trailblazer. It was created ostensibly to track terrorists. How Zuckerbooger got involved is beyond me, but I heard that he can’t even write code!

One way or the other Twitter will not be the same after he’s done.

My offer was based on Twitter’s SEC filings being accurate.

It is not JUST the number of spam bots, it is also their frequency, aka bandwidth, that is of note here as constituting their overall ‘traffic’. Twitter (TWTR) is a publicly traded corporation and, as such, has to conform to rules & regulations from such regulators as the SEC, FTC and FASB.

TWTR has issued common stock to the public market and is required to be transparent on the company ‘health’ for the public market to trade fairly. It is VERY ILLEGAL for insiders [employees and Directors] to know and make decisions on undisclosed factors that materially affect that health. In this case, where TWTR’s income derives from advertising that is based upon traffic that underestimates spurious entities, that constitutes (minimum) malfeasance to fraud! Advertisers legitimately can demand compensation which lowers revenue and logically the value of the stock.

Remember Elon Musk’s criticism of how little stock was owned by the Board of Directors (BoD) of TWTR? That was the opening salvo of this discovery process. If the BoD own few shares then the legitimate query is WHY? Twitter is NOT A NEW company and, as such, you would expect such well compensated & wealthy persons to participate in what they oversee.

Get out the popcorn and drinks, I think this may be interesting!

It’s like making an acceptable offer for a house. Both parties agree, then comes the inspection. If 25% of Twitter traffic is bot driven, the prices come down....the threat of SEC penalties for false or misleading data may make the company fold. Musk may have driven Twitter into a corner.

Project Veritas exposé used to be top headline news on Drudge. Yesterday I checked Drudge just to see if they were covering what the Indian engineer said about Twitter. Not a mention. Drudge completely ignored it.

“Even the “Liberal Freakout” over Musk buying Twitter was fake. It was just the conspirators knowing they were caught!”

Excellent observation. I hadn’t thought about that. Sounds very plausible to me.

I wonder if Elon’s plan all along was to expose Twitter for the bias product it really has become. I’m waiting for ad buyers to sue if their reach was less than stated. I also think Elon wants to rub SEC’s nose in the incorrect numbers filed over the years by Twitter and SEC’s lack of action.

It would be similar to Disney employees testifying under oath that they don’t include LBQTUV (or whatever) content in their product. There’s no law against it, but don’t go to Congress and testify otherwise! The only reason Jack Dorsey will get away with it is because he can just pay off the politicians.

There’s a documentary with 3 of the people who developed Trailblazer explained what they did and how it transformed from focused data capture to capture everything. Basically, as happens with most tech things (e.g. Viagara) is that they designed the system with a goal and people soon figured out that it can be useful for other purposes. There’s only one type of entity that I know of who has the resources to scan and capture ALL IP data. That is the “government”! BTW that stupid movie about Zuckerbooger is pure propaganda. I

Yes his plan is to nuke Twitter. He’s never going to buy it now.

This is now finally starting to get interesting.

Someone should do a flow chart of what is happening/could happen.

Proof that Twitter is fraudulently understating their analysis of bots (it’s called lying) would have WOW repercussions.

Gotta run to the store and get more popcorn....

I think so. He seems bent on proving that Twitter is not worth having. Then Twitter’s shares will drop off the cliff.

If Twitter is full of commies, as reported, it follows that its subscriber metrics are full of compost.

Matt Drudge sold the site. I don’t know why people haven’t realized that yet.
