Pennsylvania Senate candidate Kathy Barnette's campaign said she was at the Jan. 6, 2021 protest in Washington, D.C., to "demand election accountability," but didn't break the law, after photos of her from that day surfaced on the eve of the state's primary election.
"Kathy was in DC to support President Trump and demand election accountability," a Barnette campaign spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Any assertion that she participated in or supported the destruction of property is intentionally false."
NBC News Monday morning published photos that appear to show Barnette marching in D.C. on Jan. 6 near members of "Proud Boys," an extreme right-wing group that played a prominent role in the Capitol attack.
Barnette's campaign further denied that she has any connection to the Proud Boys and that "Americans deserve transparency to restore faith in our system" of elections."
There is no evidence that Barnette entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 or broke any laws.

I just caught the end of the interview, but yeah he was definitely hitting her.
That said, I’ll take Baier over a lot of the other FOX people. Like their idiot weekend crews.

Steve Bannon had a respected pollster (Richard Barris) on his show this evening who said he thinks Trump’s endorsement will be the difference in Oz winning the nomination tomorrow.
It’s too bad because Oz will not beat Fetterman in the general election. I predict at least 20% of Republicans will split their vote (vote for Mastriano in governorship race and Frankenstein in the senate race).
If the race is close between Oz and Fetterman then I will vote democrat for the first time in my life, otherwise if Fetterman is far ahead, I will enter a write-in vote. Under NO circumstance will I vote for Oz. I prefer to let the rat win the senate seat and then vote him out 6 years from now.

I think could dominate as a candidate in the future. Especially in a state like PA.

But I like her and will gladly support her if she wins tomorrow.

Baier has long ago sold his soul so he can be accepted on the DC cocktail circuit.
Baris is the best. He’s as good as it gets outside of Trafalgar and Susquehanna. And all of those three outfits are buddies. All top-flight outfits. I follow him and listen/read his stuff all the time (tweets, podcasts, etc).
If Baris says he thinks Oz will win, that’s telling. I know he’s seen the Emerson and Susq polls.
I’m not ready to write Kathy off. If Susq is correct, then I think Kathy wins.

The Weicker rule should only be used in extreme circumstances. Always a tough call, do you put up with 6 years of a hard left rat just to avoid 25 years of an Arlen Spector? The calculus is easier if you know there will a GOP house in place.

I actually think Trump would be very happy with a Barnette win.
An Oz victory would give him another win on his impressive endorsement scorecard, but a Barnette win would give him a true MAGA nominee, and hopefully a true MAGA ally in the Senate.
I grew up in the same PA town that Oz’s wife grew up in - he’s a nice enough guy, and I’m sure a talented surgeon - but any conservatism he claims to have must be very recently acquired.
I think we’d just have another Pat Toomey.

If Susq’s poll is right, I’d be shocked if Barnette doesn’t win. But we’ll see.
If Baris (see this thread), respected pollster, says he thinks Oz will win (Baris said this today, I guess) then that’s a key statement. He’s very good at this.
Trump wants Oz to win because Trump endorsed Oz. So if Oz loses it makes Trump look irrelevant/weak.
I agree, though, that if Trump had to pick one person he most aligned with in the race, it would be Kathy.
