Mitch McConnell group gives $2 million to oppose Mo Brooks’ Senate bid

While Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks has been holding “Fire McConnell” town halls on his statewide U.S. Senate campaign, the Republican leader in the Senate apparently wants to make sure Alabama voters don’t hire Brooks.

A super PAC affiliated with Mitch McConnell, the Kentucky senator and north Alabama native expected to be restored as majority leader if Republicans win control of the Senate in November, has contributed $2 million to a super PAC opposing Brooks’ election while also supporting one of his opponents, former Sen. Richard Shelby Chief of Staff Katie Britt.

Hmmmm.... Mitch thinks his position is worth $2 million of insurance money. Let’s get him fired, Alabama.

Britt. Nothing more than a Shelby clone and McConnell puppet.

It is imperative that the Murder Turtle is stuck back up on that fencepost of his private life.

He is one of the most disgustingly corrupt Deep State politicians on either side out there.

The Republican Party cannot be fixed with him in it.

Mitch would not survive a serious senate investigation into his income sources…

All the right people hate Mo.

I know her husband’s family very well for a long, long time and I like them. But for the reasons you cite, I will be voting for Mo.

Hey Turtle Neck - why can’t you keep your slimy face out of other folks’ [voters] bidness? You shame yourself routinely without ever turning a hair. Makes Real Americans wonder what ever happened in your past to turn you into a total b*tt boy for the Swamp. ESAD, Turtle Neck, you have stayed far beyond your sell date. Another word - for your own sake, watch that RINO vulture Thune. You break bread with him, get a taster.

The Shelby group wants to keep the gravy train going. I would love to see a requirement for every sitting member of Congress to undergo a forensic audit of their personal finances every year they are in Congress.

Brooks has said repeatedly that he will not support McConnell as Senate leader. Turtle neck needs the power position to hide his crimes so he is going to fight anyone who opposes him.

“I know her husband’s family very well for a long, long time and I like them. But for the reasons you cite, I will be voting for Mo.”

Yeah other than the associations with Shelby there doesn’t seem to be any strong negatives for Britt of which I am aware. I don’t trust her however since she has no track record. However if she were to get in Alabama would probably still be in better shape than many states.

We are fortunate down here to have to pick between Brooks, Britt and Durant. On the negatives — Britt has the Shelby baggage, Durant refused to debate and Mo Brooks was lame enough to lose Trump’s endorsement.

I’ve been a long time supporter of Mo Brooks. I still plan to support him next Tues. He is the only one with a proven conservative record.
