To be fair, “pale, male, and Yale” hasnt led to a stellar crew at DoS either. But tossing out merit based selection is just stupid.
True, but nothing has been as patently stupid as sending female diplomats to represent us in the Middle East. Well, so far.
Pale and male had difficulties getting into Yale this go around as well as other ‘elite’ colleges. I wonder when the upper middle income white moms will start noticing their sons get shafted at every turn.
