The war on drugs is winding down, and the war on tobacco is ramping up. E-cigarettes, a safer nicotine-delivery alternative, have contributed to plummeting use of traditional cigarette smoking. Yet the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has effectively made it harder for cigarette smokers to switch by limiting vapes from the market. The agency also recently announced a ban on menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars, which will push more products onto the black market, with all sorts of unintended consequences.

Is a Crack Pipe a “vaping” device? Just call your vaping device a Crack Pipe and you should be OK.
Sort of tangential here but I know a few folks who use vape devices as inexpensive nebulizers for legitimate medications.
But marijuana and giving out crack pipes is AOK
Smokers should have been hardest hit during Covid, but weren’t. Really makes you think.
Also, pay no attention to the sudden urgent crackdown on vaping right before Covid appeared.
One of the main ingredients in e-liquids is propylene glycol.
Atomized, it kills all airborne viruses and bacteria. Including covid.
In one week, it’ll be 13 years since I gave up a 30-year smoking habit with a vaping device.
I now mix my own fluids and build my own atomizers for pennies.
And the tax dogs can’t stand it.

Cigarette smoke coats the lung walls. Maybe in an odd way it blocks the respiratory system from taking in as many airborne pathogens. The same might be true about the glycerin in vaping.

"Recreational" marijuana is now legal in New Jersey, but it is illegal to grow your own. Same ol' tax dogs at work.

It’s kinda funny how when we get short on funding, we must work harder and longer hours to get ourselves back above water and make ends meet...
And how when the government, ALSO, gets short on funding, they make us work harder and longer hours to make THEIR ends meet.
Seriously, why is pot not targeted by the anti-smoking crowd! Smoke from burning leaves is still smoke from burning leaves. One kills you and is banned, the other is sanctioned and promoted. It makes no sense.
The studies and interviews of people who vape do not indicate a cessation of cigarette smoking
When I was in the Army (1966-68) Kools were my go-to and I loved “smoke-em-if-ya-got-em” moments.
Then, when I got out, I went to Copenhagen dip for 17 years until my dentist said it would not end well. It was waaaay harder to kick dip than smokes.
But how the heck can they ban Kools?
Details please. I found a setup that I like and is a lot cheaper than cigarettes but there's always room for improvement. Also, let me know what kind of cigarettes you used to smoke.
Democrats/Leftists consider everything from an emotional perspective. There is no rationality involved ... only emotion ... backed of course with power, intolerance, force and bullying.
