What is winning? Only losing 40% of your infrastructure and your people? "Winning" is, when the war is finally over, being the one who dictates the conditions of peace.

What is winning? Only losing 40% of your infrastructure and your people? Japan lost WWII, but they won the subsequent peace. I've lost a couple jobs to Japanese competition over my career. Oddly enough, I wasn't angered, but admired them for beating us at our own game.
They beat us fair and square using our rules. Impressive, Deming san.
