Don’t doubt that dem actors are “supporting” unelectably conservative candidates. These actors are very probably influencing the more pliable freepers, or perhaps they are acting as freepers.

Of course, Hanlon’s Razor says these people among us are not malicious, but rather merely stupid.

I absolutely agree!

I liked Oz. then I thought twice about liking him.

I never liked McCormick, but I thought he is after all a good business man.

I wasn’t sure about Barnette, but when I found out Mastriano endorsed her, I had a better opinion of her.

It goes without saying that this is my OPINION.
I have not insulted anyone for their opinion.
I expect the same from others.

Having lived in PA in the past, for some years, I still have feelings for what they do.

I hope they straighten out the rotten 2020 Election. It was a total disgrace.

I can say that I am happy we do not live there anymore, but I have a good feeling about any one of the above for Senate.

It appears Mastriano will be the candidate and that makes me so happy that I can get behind whatever ticked on which he would be the Leading Candidate.

Barnette is unelectable.

And Oz is a leftist creep. I'll take Barnette every time. Zero interest in Dr. Odd.

I seem to recall everyone saying that about Trump. Oz will vote with the Dems. McCormick will have a soft spot for China

Perhaps she is better than Trump.

Trump’s pumping of his clot shot does not impress me, nor many ppl that I know who have to deal with mandates at work.

The media played Pennsylvanians like saps. Barnette’s unacceptable and unelectable, so vote for a Turkish soldier who believes that teachers can help 12-year-olds get abortions and six-year-olds get sex changes. I don’t know much about McCormick and I don’t intend to campaign for him, but if you need an alternative to Barnette (and I’m not saying you do), you don’t need to elect Oz.

Establishment has been all in on OZ or MCCormick since day one.

Neither one really excites anyone I know and independents I talk to sure as hell have no intent to vote for either one of them.

Barnette absolutely caught fire with her debate performances. She had no budget and so only exposure she had before that were folks who followed the race closely or attended events she was at. Most that saw her liked her but most people never saw her. Debates changed that and she took off.

Last 4-5 days the establishment has done nothing but throw lies and smear out at her non stop.

I am hopeful Barnette pulls off the upset.

My honest assessment about the race?

Even before Barnette was on most voters radar, I have said the following and I stick to it:

If oZ or MCCormick are the nominee, don’t be surprised if the democrats take this seat. Neither one are going to sell here. They have no innate support, and both will play at best as generic R candidates. OZ is a fraud and MCCormick is a typical Wall Street bus Republican. Neither will motivate the blue collar and rural voters in any meaningful way.. and certainly will not get the disenfranchised voters that Trump got to the polls to show up. Fetterman is the Democrat nominee, and he is a very solid D candidate…. You can’t run a generic R vs a Generic D and generally win in PA, let alone a generic R against a strong D and win… and this race with either of them is a generic R vs. strong D…

The only way OZ or MCCormick can win the general is if the damage Biden and the economy have done is so great that a ham sandwich would win as long as it has an R by its name.

Barnette is a wild card in the general if she wins tomorrow. She is definitely NOT a generic R, certainly has the best personal story to tell, and connects to folks she meets in person. She also is by far the most conservative in her stands and policies of the three. How will she do in the general if she wins? Well I think honestly she’s the only one who won’t disappear in Fettermans shadow. She’s clearly not going to get any party support other than token if she is the candidate so is going to have to depend on grass roots abs shoe leather to do it. She will be fighting both the democrats and the GOP establishment/rino/Uniparty swamp the entire race.

For me I’ll take my chances on Barnette any day over OZ and MCCormick.. iif they win any R would have won and I know both of them will just be another disappointment .

I will say this among the conservatives I talk to, NO ONE abs I do mean NO ONE, even those who plan to vote for him, have any excitement for OZ and a pretty good contingent openly state if he wins the primary they will not vote for him in the fall.

We will see how it plays out, I am hopeful Barnette pulls off the upset.. because the GOP of PA needs to learn a lesson, that they can’t just keep giving us crap candidates and tell us we should be thankful for it.

If she wins regardless of the fall, that will be as big if not bigger an FU to the GOPE of PA than Trump was to the national GOPe.

So long and short I’d put odds on Fetterman winning easily with OZ or MCCormick as the nominee this fall.

I am hopeful tha Barnette pulls off the upset, the slime thrown around in thr last few days against her pretty much reinforces that th GOP of pa will not change without being forced to

Oz is unelectable. My vote is for Kathy. If she or McCormack become the candidate, I would vote for them in the general.

I will not vote for Oz. The PA GOP did that to us a number of years ago and we ended up with Arlen Spector. As you recall, he switched parties and gave us 0bamacare.

By that logic Trump was unelectable....

Same people made the same arguments in 2016...

Oz and McCormick are not likely to win this fall, this false narrative that they can is old school thinking.

The entire world changed in 2016 election.

Oz brings the low information largely female suburban voters who know him from TV and “like” him, but he alienates a whole lot of people and won’t play well in the T at all, particularly against Fetterman. The presumption, which I believe to be a false one, by the establishment is that OZ will carry the existing GOP base, but also pull in those suburban women to put him over the top... I don’t think that’s going to happen at all if he’s the nominee...

The latter half of getting the low information suburban women swooned by his celebrity, probably will happen... but I don’t see him holding the base at all, and flat out forget about him getting the disenfranchised voters that Trump got to engage to show up for him... (or McCormick for that matter).

No one, and I do mean NO ONE, I talk to, even those who tell me they plan to vote for Trump are overly excited about him, basically only argument they give is they think he “can win”... That’s not going to sell to the people who legitimately find him unacceptable for his stated public stands on gun control, trans kids, and multiple other things... A VERY large part of the base won’t support him, ever.

I know nobody that calls themselves an independent that I have spoken to that plans to vote for OZ, none... When asked they pretty much all agree Fetterman will eat him for lunch and crap him out by lunch.

As a Republican in PA you already start out down 500k in registrations. If a good part of the base doesn’t buy what you are selling, you aren’t likely to win and if the independents aren’t excited by you, you certainly aren’t going to win, and that’s if the race were just a Generic D vs a Generic R...

Fetterman is anything but a Generic D... he’s a beast, literally and politically. I don’t see any way you put Oz or McCormick for that matter, in front of a bunch of folks from the various small towns, small cities and rural areas that make up the T, and then stand Fetterman up right next to them, and you get excitement for Oz or McCormick... they just aren’t going to connect.

I don’t like Fetterman’s politics, but folks are foolish if they think he’s not a beast Politically.. he’s going to sell very well to the voters across this state, especially if the options is a Pretty Boy fraud, or a Wall Street Bush Republican.

The only way I see Oz or McCormick winning this fall, if they wind up the candidate, is if Biden and the Economy have damaged the Democrat brand so badly that a ham sandwich would win as long as it has an R by its name.... and if that’s the case, give me Barnette over either one of these two.

She may wind up a disappointment, but I know damned well Oz or McCormick will... not an if, just a when. Both are just another in a long line of Spercter, Santorum and Toomey...

We will see how this all plays out, but this notion that Oz or McCormick are electable and Barnette is not I think is a huge false premise..

“plan to vote for Trump are overly excited about him,”

That should read:

Exactly. Primaries are more important because then you can exercise whatever your version of electoral purity is.

In the general, you support the candidate whose party most closely resembles your beliefs.

Agreed, I don’t believe this poll at all.

Claiming OZ has gained the same amount of support as Barnette since the last poll doesn’t remotely fit.

We’ll see tomorrow night what the actual outcome is.

I hope Barnette pulls off the upset.
