I think those of us who have learned, (many times the hard way, by trial and error) earnestly want to help other mothers avoid this situation in the future. We know there are situations where a mother cannot breastfeed, because of health or family pressures.
Breastfeeding is superior to formula in every way, and you will find breastfeeding mothers ofter helping other mothers with donated breast milk when a baby is severely ill, and only breastmilk will work.
This happens more than you know, and nursing mothers also help other mothers regain their milk supply if they have lost it for some reason. It can be done!
I definitely agree with you. I haven’t made any statement suggesting that formula is at all superior, though it’s very useful in certain situations. It’s also necessary for a lot of families right now, and the shortage is a real problem.
