How did babies eat prior to store bought baby formula? And to make it worse there were no throw away diapers. Sorry folks. I have a hard time with this one.

Modern women probably don't like the babies biting their teets.
Still, there was never a shortage of baby formula or anything else in the Trump economy.
This baby was underweight at birth and doctors told the mother to supplement with formula. She *is* breastfeeding the baby but needs the formula in addition to get the baby to healthy weight.
There are also mothers unable to breastfeed for various reasons, such as being on certain drugs for a medical condition. While fairly unusual, I do feel for these families. What a nightmare.
Same here. These are artificially created childcare problems. And the formula conpanies love having these dummies on the hook.
Neither of my sons were satisfied with just formula. I also tried breastfeeding my youngest son, and rotating breastfeeding with formula to try to fill him up, but that didn't work either. Thankfully, neither son was colicky. The pediatrician told me to put them on whole milk with light Karo syrup to keep their stools soft. And both were eating rice cereal and fruit within 3 weeks of birth. They're in their 50's now.
I had cloth diapers for my kids. Just imagine how much money the mother’s could save if they would go back to cloth diapers. The only exemption should be if the family goes on a trip.
