At least 2,000 “mules” were paid to illegally collect ballots and deliver them to drop boxes in key swing states ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

What’s the theory on why the mules used the drop boxes in the first place? Couldn’t they have just mailed the ballots in?

I think all the ballots they dropped of were in bulk at isolated drop zones. So regular mail boxes wouldn’t have been any good and bringing bulk ballots to manned post offices would have been suspicious.

They would drop 4-7 at a time in routes of 10-30 boxes so it would not trip any wires. It is a systemic method of voter fraud spreading it around so nobody can detect large quantities.

They even wore gloves so they would not leave prints on the ballots.
