Basic financial math too...
More States Are Starting to Require High School Students to Take Financial Literacy Courses (5.2.22)
In addition to Constitution, all financial literacy courses need to include the Supreme Court's clarification of Congress's limited power to appropriate taxes.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Insights welcome.
Also, patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
Yes, I agree with your thoughts there.
Math is so important.
Stopped in at a McDonald’s off Highway 99 in mid-Califoria
a few months back. The cashier, an attractive Black very
courteous young woman’, was incapable of displaying any math
skills during our interaction.
She was sweet, but I felt sorry for her. I gave her a bill
she needed to make change for, and she was ready to give
me back way too much money. I could have quadruped my
funds, if I had been that type of person.
I carefully explained what I was doing, why, and how it
was the reasoned change for me to get. She stood there
and watched, not offended in the slightest.
What in the Sam Hell are we doing to these young people?
It angers me to see her level of skill, so diminished from
what it could be.
Her math teachers should be fired. She seemed about high
school graduation age. How could any dedicated teacher
fail this person so completely?
