Our state sent out mail-in ballots. We shredded them and voted in person.

But just as the documentary stated, we received a ballot from someone who had moved from here long ago. We put it back in the mail marked ‘Return to Sender, Addressee Unknown’. I wondered what happened to it and all the others like it.

We live in a relatively large apartment complex. God knows how many of those ballots went to dead people, people who had moved, etc.

Your comments gave me pause to wonder what role the post office may have played in this whole mess. What happened
to all of those ballots that were “returned”? There were
undoubtedly massive boxes of ballots laying around the PO facilities. Were they destroyed? Returned to county?

I wonder what happened to a semi truck full of “ballots” that was lost , I believe it was in Pennsylvania/New York. A young man called Jesse was a contract driver for the PO swore an affidavit that the load was mis directed by his bosses. As far as I know we were never told what happened to the missing load.

Given my personal experience with the post office this past year I would not be surprised at anything. For example Christmas cards with gift cards enclosed are “LOST” and not returned to sender.

My brother is retired from the post office and he speaks of working in a
highly partisan , union controlled , work environment.

Just wondering?
