I suppose one solution is to just say no and quit but like so much in the world social media has addictive properties. When I was growing up tv was a big addiction. Reading too much FR can get one down. Even though it’s mostly the world of news seen through conservative eyes it can still get you depressed.

One thing I love about FR are the spirited debates especially during election cycles. I’ve learned a lot from my fellow FReepers as they are certainly smarter than I am. Over the years spirited debate has degenerated into ridiculous name calling and childish insults among some but not all. As the culture goes….
But Free Republic will always be my go-to.
