Yeah, after Monday’s 99, we’ll be in the high 80s or low 90s for a while. I promise not to complain about that! LOL! Rain along with it would a huge bonus.
I’m glad Friday was sort of busy and that you had fun with the visitors. That makes it all worthwhile.
Our temps WILL be the same next week.
Y’all do need some rain and I wish you’d get some. But you’d swelter if you step outside due to the humidity - - like we will. LOL
It was pretty steady yesterday and all the people were fun. My first tour was three men from FL - all vets - and they were a blast.
What a wonderful way to start the day...3 vets! I’m sure you gave them the red-carpet treatment. Thank them for me sometime.
I’ll be going after I finish the show I’m watching, so see ya tomorrow. Dang, I hope I can sleep in this 83-degree heat. I do have the fan going. Much as I dislike them. LOL!
Thanks for the hymns.
Happy Mother's Day!!
A gift for you!!
I wish a happy and blessed Mother’s Day to all of the moms here!
I try to give everyone the red carpet treatment so they all enjoy themselves. I think we all do. We want people to enjoy it enough to want to come back again, and many do. But yeah, the vets get a little extra. :-)
They seem to enjoy the prototypes we have throughout the building more than anything.
I enjoy listening to their stories because I learn from them. A win-win.
Good luck getting some decent sleep tonight. It’s too bad you don’t enjoy having the fan blowing. I can’t sleep without one. Mine goes 24/7/365. LOL
Lil kitteh forgets I’m vegetarian. LOL!!
Howdy, Allegra.
I hope you had a good week and didn’t have to deal with storms. We were lucky enough to miss out on the worst of the “action”.
Since everyone appears to be asleep ....... :-)
How's everyone this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Have you and Gizmo been having a large time at the lake? Was it crowded yesterday?
I cut off every miscellaneous branch I saw.
I think there might be an electric chain saw in the garage. I might have to check it out. That could help with the bigger limbs I would like to get rid of on the creek bank.
Last year I had 5 or six big trees removed from the bank and now I can see better, but I also have several trees down in the creek that all look to have come from the far bank...and that is school/city property. I finally found a # for Anchorace Dept of Public Works. I will call them on Monday.
God Bless our military men and women who have given their all.
Thanks, unique.
You sound like Hubby. Whack, whack, whack. LOL
You want to be sure the chain saw is sharp before you use it. Dull can be dangerous.
It’ll be nice to have a better view of the creek if you can get some of those limbs out of the way. And really nice if Public Works will clear out the downed trees from the other bank. Good luck on that!
I guess the trees remaining on the farm are strong. We’ve had some rough winds the past several months and haven’t had anything large blown out or blown over. The weak ones are already gone due to past storms and two tornados. Hubby’s happy he hasn’t had to cut up and haul anything for a while other than something he wanted to get rid of.
It looks like Gizmo had a great time, especially with whatever he was rolling on. He reeeeeeally got into that. LOL
((LOL)) Yep, he sure did.
Thanks!
I guess being a newly adoptive “Dog-Mom” counts? :-)
