So do I. NATO and Ukraine kept poking the bear, now they are indignant that the bear swiped back. Don’t get me wrong, I think Russia is wrong to start the war and Ukraine has every right to fight back, just that neither side is innocent of the blood spilled.

I fear this will become pretext to a wider conflict. Too many seem to want war, both in our government and in China.

Well said, I agree.

We seem to feel we have the right to dictate what happens in the hemisphere, but are outraged when Russia protects it’s border.

Russia managed to push Finland and Sweden into Nato. That is something I bet money on not happening.

They also had the swiss start talking about dumping Neutrality .

Putin had a goal of taking Europe.

The 1994 Budapest Accession to the United Nations Nuclear NonProliferation Treaty was not a NATO deal. Russia signed assurances of borders/sovereignty in exchange for nukes. Russia has violated that agreement, twice.

By INVADING.

Initiating the violence is always just plain wrong.
