Putin is facing a collapse in army morale, after Russian soldiers turning their guns on their Chechen comrades.
Russian officers are alleged to have gone on strike and are refusing to carry out orders in protest at their conditions and the war. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov is a close ally of the Russian despot and has been a strong supporter of Putin's war in Ukraine. He has sent his militias, known as the "Kadyrovtsy", to help bolster Russian forces in their invasion.
Kadyrovites have a fearsome reputation and, in the past, have faced repeated allegations of abusing human rights.
Part of their role is to prevent Russian soldiers from fleeing battle by threatening to shoot them if they try to desert.
However, this has enraged Russian soldiers who have now taken matters into their own hands and decided to turn the tables on their Chechen oppressors.
Victor Kovalenko, a former Ukrainian army veteran, said Buriat soldiers in the Russian army had turned their guns on Kadyrov's militias.
He tweeted: "In the occupied Kiselivka village (near the famous Chornobaivka Russian arms storage) in Kherson province, about 50 Russian soldiers of Buriat nationality opened fire at night at fellow Kadyrovites Chechens.
Allegedly, the Buriat soldiers of the Russian military were angry and frustrated that Kadyrovites Chechens didn't fight along with them, but threatened to kill Buriats in case they retreat from the battlefield.
"Moreover, the Buryat of the Russian military soldiers fired at fellow Kadyrovites because they appropriate most of the stuff Buryat soldiers robbed from the locals and stole from abandoned houses of Ukrainians."
Kadyrov boasted that tens of thousands of Chechens were ready to volunteer for the war in Ukraine, after hostilities commenced.
The Russian state TV channel RT also claimed that 12,000 Chechens were on their way to fight.

Victory has many fathers while defeat has circular firing squads.
Putin took a page from Stalin’s playbook. But the Slavic soldiers can revolt and turn on Putin. Ukrainians are their brothers. The Russians subdued Chechnya so they have a lot of distrust there.
This might end up going the WW1 route for Russia..
Like this swill from newspuppet John Varga.
Even Goebbels couldn't hold a candle to the likes of Liz Truss.

The debrief by Tim McMillan
“..Russian troops from the far east republic of Buryatia, and fighters of the Chechen Republic, got into a large shootout with each other while participating in Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
The gunbattle, reportedly involving upwards of 100 soldiers, supposedly went down in the village of Kyselivka, in the Chornobaivka territory of the Russian-occupied Kherson region. “
Any day now, Russia is going to have to surrender - not.

Good news for our own increasingly diverse military. /s
The Chechens were kept separated from the Buryats in different military groups.
I’ve not heard of only black or only Latino or only white battalions.
In the US military the only race they recognize is the service you belong to - a Marine is a Marine, no matter the color of his skin
I like Michael Savage’s take on this war. Sad, tragic and potentially dangerous for the world.
I would like to see the US take more of a neutral approach, giving more material and humanitarian aide and a little less military support (to Ukraine not Russia of course).
Russia is the bad sate here, no doubt about that..however it’s not our war nor does it involve a NATO state.
(The coming famine and endless war)
Agreed. I was catching up on Savage podcasts yesterday and the interviews and takeaways gave me a real perspective.

Your noble efforts at humanitarian aid would be stolen by Orcs. In the end, your ‘aid’ would only strengthen Orcs.

My 96 year old father in law was on a supply ship in WW2 and he hates Marines. An 84 year old retired Marine told me recently that when the fleet was to dock in San Diego the Marines were so bored that they would head to the bars to pick fights with the Navy guys. My father in law did say something about bar fights.
Young Russian soldiers have a choice to either follow orders and murder and rape Ukranian children, or shoot the Muslim bastards who order them to do so. I am glad to see most of them are decent human beings.
Most are human beings. That’s why Putin’s war is doubly horrible.
It’s not only the horrors that Putin is inflicting on the people of Ukraine, but also the horrors Putin is inflicting on the people of Russia
The thing is, this is the Munich moment.
If the USA doesn’t supply weapons to Ukraine today, tomorrow Putin will be emboldened to attack a NATO country
Zero proof of that.
