I don’t remember the TMI incident at the time, but I live not far from there now. If I walk 100 yards up the road from my home on a clear day to the crest of the nearby hill, I can see the cooling towers at TMI about a dozen miles off in the distance.

The HBO series was good but too much made up BS because they can't help themselves.
If you haven't seen it see 'Zero Hour" Chernobyl for a much better and real documentary (English) . In only one hour it is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.

My FIL worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission when this happened and contributed to some of the after action reports. He told me the risk ane danger were not nearly as dire as press reports made them out to be. This sounds like more leftist revisionist history and related wet dreams.

I worked at the Hope Creak reactor in Salem, NJ. Every time rained the electricity in the admin building would go out. (built on a swamp) I would self evacuate. just drive home. be back tomorrow if yall are still here.
