Birmingham, AL (USMS) – The U.S. Marshals Service is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the capture of an escaped inmate from Lauderdale County Jail and up to $5,000 for the correctional officer who authorities believe helped him escape April 29 from Lauderdale County.
A warrant has been issued for Vicky White, 56, charging her with permitting or facilitating escape in the first degree in connection with capital murder suspect Casey White’s escape from jail. (The Whites are not related.)
Authorities said Vicky White sold her home a month ago, and she was supposed to retire on Friday, the day she and Casey White disappeared.
They may be traveling in a 2007 orange or copper colored Ford Edge

These things typically take more than a year to set up. So she’s made all kinds of plans with him. He has no interest in someone 15-20 years older than him, so she has to go. But since she knows all the plans, or at least some of them, she will be killed. When you’re already looking at life or the death penalty, what’s one more murder?
Maybe she has, or thinks she has, terminal illness. So go out with a bang. No pun intended.

I wouldn’t read too much into those awards. Prisons are extremely political places to work. Most times the people who receive awards are the ones who kiss the right asses. She couldn’t have been such a great employee if she helped a capital murderer escape from the prison. I hope nobody gets killed over her stupid actions.
It would be hilarious if that sale was the “butterfly effect” event that just set off an epic financial reckoning.
