[SAN FRANCISCO – Apr. 26, 2022] Project Veritas released newly leaked audio today that captures Twitter leadership addressing staff over concerns relating to Elon Musk’s takeover of the company.
In a company-wide call that lasted around 45 minutes, Twitter employees questioned board member, Bret Taylor, and CEO, Parag Agrawal, about the company’s direction and Musk’s motives for buying the social media platform.
Taylor kicked off the meeting recognizing that many on the staff were shocked by how quickly the Twitter-Musk negotiations unfolded.
“I also just want to acknowledge all the emotions of today. It is an emotional day. I want to acknowledge it,” Taylor said. “By law, we are required to act in the best interest of our shareholders,” he said while justifying the company’s sale.
Agrawal made similar remarks about the toll this may be taking on numerous Twitter employees.
“It’s important to acknowledge that all of you have many different feelings about what is happening,” Agrawal said.
“Many of you are concerned, some of you excited, many people here are waiting to understand how this goes and have an open mind,” he said.
The Twitter CEO attempted to quell fears of Musk’s takeover, going so far as to say that the company’s current “content moderation” policies are “fundamental to keeping Twitter safe and growing.”
Said Agrawal, “We’ll be finding a way to have Elon talk with all of you at the soonest possible opportunity…As you’ve heard from all of us, we don’t have all the answers.”

Fire the Indian female lawyer first.
Reinstate everyone.
The perpetually outraged liberals at Twitter hear about Elon taking over and they become... outraged. News at 11
If Elon quit now, he would still have performed an invaluable service, pulling back the curtain and revealing how many villains and traitors are operating behind the scenes - and not just at Twitter.
In my humble opinion, I think Elon should do what Trump should have done and clean house. Right now I think that everyone at twitter is finding a way to subvert their new owner by hiding code permanently to keep conservative voices down. And I think as long as those same employees are at twitter they will do everything they can to subvert their boss. It’s Twitter’s own deep state. I hope Elon sacks all of them.
What part of "Don't let the door hit your fascist ass on the way out" don't they understand?
I think many will quit or get fired.
Supposedly the code/algorithms are locked, but that’s beyond my education level. I’m in power, not computers.
F**k their feelings
Please inset a copy of ‘your feelings’ into the slot next to the company paper shredder.
Well stated, FRiend !
LOL
It doesn’t matter if the code/algorithms are locked. They can be unlocked or wiped. They’re probably going to use that as an excuse to Elon that all of the censorship needs to stay. I’d love to see them try to give Elon an excuse like that. Of course he’d have the last laugh.
“I think that everyone at twitter is finding a way to subvert their new owner by hiding code permanently to keep conservative voices down.”
Well, Elon plans to make the code public, so there will be 1000 times as many eyes looking at it. Nothing will stay hidden for long if he does that.
My understanding is it takes a VP to unlock the code.
Sabotage is a crime.
Let’s ask an IT guy.
Laz, what do you think they can do to sabotage Twitter?
Anyone leaving purposefully damaged or damaging software should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and any and all prior shares or monetary company inducements should be the first things forfeited to pay for the damage...including retirement set asides in the company. Get. Them. Out!

Icahn said. “How could I get rid of 12 floors of people?”
So he hired a group of consultants from Columbia University to find out what the people did. Three weeks and $250,000 later, they came back to Icahn and said, “We don’t know what they do either.”
“Got rid of the whole twelve floors,” Icahn said. “It was like out of a science fiction movie. They never existed.”
Musk watched the clip and replied, “Exactly.”
ELON needs to have a empty cardboard box placed at each of their office doors at the end of the day.
“Musk watched the clip and replied, ‘Exactly.’”
It’s that true? It’s a great story, either way.
