I lived across Puget Sound from Tacoma (before moving to San Antonio). Seattle was an armpit for the twenty-five years I lived in the area. Soooooo glad I got the hell out.

I knew this Kemper guy who tried to keep Light Rail away from Bellevue, he spent millions to do this but ultimately failed.
