He may not be stupid, but I believe he has horrible political sense, unlike Clinton. He could have easily run roughshod over the Republicans getting most of what he wanted politically, but he insisted on pushing when the country did not support him which gave us Trump. He pushed for Harris to be VP, and I think he fully expected her to be president at this point, but she is so lacking even Democrats don’t want her.
