DdB The question of course, is not what the DdB knows or thinks he knows at this time, but what did the Arsonist know or believe IF this were arson?

The business model for Azure Standard involves ordering food products that ship periodically by truck along pre-established shipping routes. (You pay the shipping costs as part of your purchase.) You meet the truck or pick the product up at a particular time on specified drop points and pick up your purchase off the back of the truck, or, at someone's garage. (= locker storage.) These are people who are trying to remain independent from normal in community food networks, Mormons, homesteaders, homeschoolers, etc.

An arsonist would reasonably consider that they were taking out the HQ computers that contain customer accounts and billing and product lists that control a widespread distribution network over a large area of western states. (The redoubt!) The arson would be directed at this destroying the computers and records of this distribution base, NOT the distributed processing and storage facuilities located in mulitple building. If arson...

About 7 or 8 years ago I signed up online with Azure Standard, but after reviewing I decided that I did not really need to wait for my food to be shipped to me since I had access to food equivalents with Natures Grocers, Sprouts, and Whole Foods all located closer than the drop off point. (I could also go to the Mercantile Food Mart in Lawrence KS if I wanted and stop for at Free State Brewery for a their food and beer!) I am also 7 or 8 miles from the Associated Grocers Food Distribution warehouse. (If that burns down that to me would be very suspicious .)

Anyway, Azure Standard sent an email, or I read a story that indicated that they were short storage space, and had stored some recieved products on pallets at the headquarters that spontaneously combusted or were too close to an electrical panel or something and that Arson was not suspected by the local fire department. (Something like a Grain Silo explosion or something.) SO, Does NOT look like Arson but accidental.

"Azure Standard founder and CEO David Stelzer issued the following statement: “While the HQ facility is a total loss, and a few product lines will be affected for the short term, other Azure Standard facilities are operating as close to normal as possible. Most importantly, we are grateful no one was injured. Our dedication to providing the highest quality food and products will continue as always. We ask for your patience and prayers as we take steps to adjust and rebuild. We appreciate our Azure community and the many expressions of support we are receiving and will continue to update our vendors and customers as needed. We expect the impact to be short-term, limited in scope and manageable.”

Now, HERE is your fear porn from 2020! (or is it?? See recent Traitor Joe the Resident statements about food shortages.)

Mother Government can't find residential homes that have been turned into Marijuana Warehouses, nor can she find the pot plants among the rows of corn in rural areas!

She can't seem to stop drug cartels bringing in truckloads of drugs EVERY DAY across our porous southern border, not to mention what the Canucks are smuggling in! (j/k)

When she wins 'The War on Drugs' I'll start worrying about her confiscating my garden.

Until then, and as it ever was and ever shall be - we are on our own. Plan accordingly, FRiends. Get your taters planted! :)

I was told by my parents when I was a baby after all the bills were paid at times my parents would take the remaining money, but a container of formula for me, a large loaf of bread and a small jar of mayo in the summer and they pulled tomatoes out of my Mom’s parents garden and that is what they would eat during the summer when things got financially tight. They refused to go on welfare and both were working 40+ hrs a week, but in the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky that sometimes still meant not having enough.

BTW I love a good mayo, salt and fresh tomato sandwich!

Eh, there’s a rope shortage, too.

You don’t get out much do you. And if you have not stocked up, it may be too late for you.

Yeh, like the Norks, the Roosians, Chinks, etc., commies in general, who ultimately were reported by naybors, friends, relatives, etc. Just remember, “you didn’t build that”! It belongs to the party (the “rat” party).

Growing up, Mom’s favorite “menu stretcher” was a casserole with noodle, tomato, onion, (a little) hamburger and toasted bread crumbs on top. We’d eat that a couple times a week for supper. I didn’t complain...and still like it to this day.

Your parents are salt of the earth folks!

Stock up? As I said:

“I for one have a lot of wheat stored up, on site natural gas well and a flour mill.”

My food stash is either frozen or canned.

Also have about 200 apple trees.

The rural neighbors I have live like I do, so I’m not too worried. We’ve got a great little ‘co-op’ here, spread over thousands of acres of tillable land and woods, with many hands and many talents.

Crop farming for animal feed, a dairy, home gardeners, hunters, camp cooks, everyone can butcher, mechanics, everyone is armed with plenty of ammo, can shoot straight and we have men with skid steers, shovels and backhoes. And they know when to shut up, LOL!

I haven’t lived in a city or town since the mid-1980’s. I’m never going back. Never! :)

Thank you.

Your mom sounds like mine. Many times when they couldn’t afford meat she would buy two cans of spam and cut it up in this slices and do a homemade mix of brown sugar, mustard and touch of ketchup glaze to put over it and bake it. We would have mashed potatoes from the basement storage tater bin from the years previous garden and green beans she had canned or frozen and that would be supper.
