Course at Utah college lets class 'watch pornographic films together'

Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, offers a class on pornography in which students watch raunchy films as a group.

“Hard core pornography is as American as apple pie and more popular than Sunday night football,” the course description reads.

Hope parents (who foot the bills) and donors are aware of this.

It's a college, and the students are presumably legal adults. I don't care what courses they take. My concern is with the "teachers" grooming children in K-12 classes.

Founded as a presbyterian sponsored school, but ditched christianity in 1974. Now it’s a nothing, small run of the mill urban college. Probably in financial straits, so may be trying to buttress its student enrollment with this sordid attention getter of a porno class.

I can imagine movies like Beverly Hills Cop or Trading Places or the Raiders of the Lost Ark series or other titles many of us here grew up with would be treated with the same derision as The Birth of A Nation on that university campus (and many others in North America).
