The Ninth Circuit affirmed Tuesday that lawsuits seeking to hold the world’s largest energy companies financially liable for climate change and the rising sea levels that threaten California’s coastal communities should stay in state court, setting the stage for a legal offensive comparable to one that won multibillion-dollar awards against Big Tobacco.

San Mateo County, Marin County and the cities of Santa Cruz and Imperial Beach in San Diego County sued Chevron, BP and three dozen other oil, gas and coal companies in separate state courts in July 2017

All fuel deliveries should be cut off to these cities and counties immediately. We do not want their residents to be harmed.

Tonga Eruption Doubles Concentration of Carbon Dioxide in Air, Researchers Say

The massive underwater volcanic eruption in Tonga has brought heated discussions concerning how it may affect the global climate.

A research team led by Prof. XIONG Wei from the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has been monitoring and analyzing the greenhouse gas concentrations before and after the volcanic eruption in Tonga with the Greenhouse Gases Monitoring Instrument (GMI).

They inverted the greenhouse gas monitoring data over Australia and New Zealand near the volcano in January 2019, January 2020 and January 2022.

After the Tonga volcano erupted in January 2022, carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations near the volcano soared to around 414 parts per million (ppm), according to researchers. Compared with estimated 412 ppm had the volcano not erupted, the increased 2ppm equaled a whole year’s CO2 emission on earth.

We must file a legal action against Tonga!

They don’t need to prove it. They just need to believe it and it’s true.

"Hey California get ready for $10 a gallon gas."

...... HA .... It's already at $10/gal in some cities here in Kalifornia. How about $20/gal.

..... However the Global Warmists will have to prove in court that the oil companies are contributing to the so called Global Warming aka Climate Change and that they sought to Willfully .... "Hide" ... The fact that they were contributing to it ..... They will also have to prove in a court of law that we are indeed experiencing "Man Made Climate Change" .... AND .... that the Oil Companies are responsible or contributing to that still to be proven theory .... AND ..... That they were puroposely and willfully hiding that still to be proven so called fact. So this could get interesting

They will probably trot in little Gretta to testify.

Big Oil, and industry in general are to blame for this stupidity...instead of calling BS on the entire CO2 scam, they all went along with it.
They thought they could convince the enviro nutjobs that they were cleaner than the other fossil fuel producers.
The idiots should have laughed at the scam from the very beginning.
The mining industry is just as stupid.
