On a recent day trip to Apalachicola, my wife and I met a couple from Palm Beach. Much the same story as yours.
I couldn’t believe his description of the traffic, of the near impossibility of eating at a restaurant only two miles away.
Yikes. I’ll stick with the swampy Redneck Riviera.
