The progressive left HAS to appeal this ruling because if it stands, it would work against their agenda. It lays the legal foundation that a federal agency MUST remain within it’s Congressional established authority. An agency can not go making administrative laws that exceed that authority.
When your god is government, you cant tolerate any restrictions on your god.
Why would the DOJ have anything to do with this?
The government winning the appeal would piss off most of the traveling public. Can an appeal even be made before the rule sunsets on May 3?
Has anyone seen the full text of the judge’s ruling? I’d really like to read through it. I suspect that it may very well allow everyone who has been harassed and punished by this bogus order to sue the crap out of the government.

The only safe coarse of action is to Quarantine the current administration and their complicit cronies. (Ie. the lame stream media.)
But the vast majority of the masks used by the public do NOT retard the spread of the virus so a general assumption of efficacy is untrue.
I've posted this a couple times the past few days, but it bears repeating. If you analyze the results in mask mandate states (39) versus the no-mask mandate states (11), you find the results are the same. Notice that the no-mask mandate states did better than the mask mandate states in the Fall-Winter 2021 surge.

They even apply they’ll wait for the CDC to decide if it’s necessary to keep it and only sue then. I am willing to bet they may be looking do use this as an excuse to end it and say it’s not our fault by bribing the CDC into saying it’s no longer necessary.
Just look at all the videos when it was announced. The majority of the people on board the various planes immediately cheered. Even the liberal cities like Boston and San Francisco have dropped the mandates for the local buses and subway systems. To the best of my knowledge, at least in my area, the only places still mandating them are New York city And CT transit buses and Commuter rail in Connecticut. Even Amtrak has dropped the mask mandate.
If the plandemic was as bad as they say this dumpster fire of an administration, as soon as they assumed power would’ve staged a press conference propping up Little Red Lying Hood in front of the big White House emblem to announce the southern border wall would be completed and the Border Patrol and ICE would be directed to seriously crack down on all immigration, OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION. If it they did that MAYBE I would’ve taken the COVID drama a little bit more seriously. They can tell their jokes to other folks

I don't believe for a moment that Klain's retweet that led to the 5th Circuit pulling the White Hospice's finger out of the mandate dam was any kind of accident.
After that, the White Hospice / Klain / Sullivan / Obama Army of Stupid immediately went from offensive to defensive in the courts, pulled their best minds from the cases (stopped hiring white shoe outside counsel), and here we are with practically the last piece of the puzzle -- masks on idiot flyers -- right before the MSM summer break for F@g Island until Labor Day, when the mid-term contest actually begins.

I went to the CDC website on at least two occasions, one of which was September of 2020. Looked for proof that masks work.
They listed a bunch of studies, many with links. The studies showed that masks caught droplets. The studies did not show what happened to the droplets after they were caught. The studies did not show what happened to the wearer after the droplets were caught. Most importantly, the studies did not show that masks stopped transmission of the virus.
We were told over and over again how many cases there were. How many people died, particularly every time we passed another grim milestone. (Except when Biden was in office. Did you hear when we passed 1 million? I didn’t). We heard efficacy in the high 90s. We heard the unvaccinated were 11 times more likely to die than the vaccinated.
Yet we never heard how much masks reduced transmission. We never heard how much obesity was a risk factor. We never heard about how much vitamin D reduced risk, let alone HCQ or Ivermectin. Or how much the vaccines cost. Or how much the advertising cost. Or how much the extra payments to hospitals for Covid diagnoses cost.
Why doesn’t our political commentators on the right make comparisons to the AIDS disease of the 1980s? There was a push for quarantine of those people infected in some quarters, but I never saw the CDC do anything about that. But now, they want to treat us all as if we were infected, and restrict our freedoms.
I never voted for ANYONE in the CDC.
