Public health officials in Europe and the United States are investigating dozens of puzzling cases of severe hepatitis in young children.
Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. The cause is often a virus, but the viruses that commonly cause the illness — hepatitis A, B, C, D and E — have been ruled out in the cases in question, leaving doctors searching for the culprit.
In several cases, the illness was so severe that the children needed a liver transplant. No deaths have been reported.
The World Health Organization on Friday said it was investigating 74 cases of severe acute hepatitis in children under age 13 in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Three cases were also reported in Spain, the WHO said. It's not clear when symptoms for most of the children began, but of the first 10 identified in the U.K., nine got sick in March and one in January 2022, according to the WHO.
In the U.S., nine cases have been reported in children ages 6 and younger in Alabama.
Dr. Wes Stubblefield, district medical officer for the Alabama Department of Public Health, said that all of the children were otherwise healthy before becoming ill, and that there is no obvious link among the children.

With the common hepatitis viruses ruled out, the current leading theory is that a different virus, called adenovirus type 41, is to blame.
Five of the nine children in Alabama, identified between October 2021 and February, tested positive for adenovirus type 41. But adenoviruses are respiratory viruses that typically cause the common cold, and are not generally associated with liver injury.
What’s the “survivability rate” of those who had the liver damage?
Nothing to worry about if they “survived” - that’s what we’ve been told here repeatedly.
I don’t know the figures but they can’t be good if a liver transplant is required to save them.

Yes they do. Whether that is the mechanism for this hasn’t yet been proven though it’s certainly something to look at.
“Confirmed” are we supposed to freak out over just four suspected cases mentioned at the link? People clutching their pearls over the vaccines are nuts. They are more worked up over extremely rare reactions or theories than taking care in their day to day lives.
There were only 4 in that particular study, I just posted it to illustrate proof that the vaxx is causing this. Right now there’s a couple hundred children with it, and the numbers are rising because this doesn’t occur right away it takes time for the damage to show up, so there is likely to be many more. The more salient point is that children rarely die from covid (mortality less than regular flu), so it’s incredibly irresponsible to vaxx them in the first place and subjecting them to the risk.

That would certainly be the case if logic and common sense applied, as well as other things being equal.
However, the hospital or the transplant authority may not even *recognize* that spike proteins are the cause of the liver damage, and waste lots of time looking for imaginary causes.
Then, there may be no more available transplant livers of the right type for that patient, or even if there are, they may have been bumped to the bottom of the list.
Third, they might not have the luxury of choosing their transplant window, based on the progress of the new liver destruction.
Fourth, second transplant immune rejection may be much worse than for first transplant.
