Storms in Florida? Bullsh!t ...
I’ve never had fun at an airport.
Lack of fuel
I was dealing with delays and eventual cancelation with AA over the weekend. They also cited weather in Miami which is an interesting argument to attempt when my flight tracker showed all kinds of flights departing Miami and only a weak stormfront in the Florida strait.
“No fun at the airports.”
I haven’t been in an airport since shortly before I retired. That was more than five years ago. And I have absolutely no intention whatsoever to be in an airport ever again.
Putin’s flight cancellations...
[fwiw, today was more normal, and right now at 6:30 PM, there are 128.]
My son’s 1:00 pm flight from Omaha to DC was bumped to 2:00 so we took him to the airport an hour late. About 20 minutes after we left, he texted us to tell us his flight got move to 5:00 p.m. Took off around 5:45. They had cancelled a couple Southwest flights but his did take off.
“Airlines have canceled more than 3,500 U.S. flights this weekend and delayed thousands more, citing weather in Florida and other issues.”
Bullsh*t!!
What are the people up to and why are they lying? And what did the government promise them to go along?
DFW Is canceling flights right now. There are some nasty storms in the area. Hail likely hopefully no more tornadoes. Like two Monday’s ago. Looks like Alaska is in a contract dispute with its pilots too. Southwest hubs out of love field it too has storms inbound should get interesting this evening. I was gonna grab some hours out of KAD today but saw the weather was going to roll in and turn VMC to IMC no fun to go bumping around for giggles in IMC.
Firing or Retiring Pilots over the Vax Mandate finally catching up to the Airlines
Aww bullshit, people.
About two threads from here, it’s posted that a major solar eruption is going on. Evidently it could screw with all the dainty electronic stuff that keeps planes from dropping out of the sky.
