3rd time from 3rd source that Ive seen the word butchered used this morning. It’s almost like hearing “a threat to our democracy” coming from every pie hole in the MSM.

This is war. You kill people and break things.

Before anyone accuses me of excusing Russia’s actions, just remember that nobody in this conflict is free from blood on their hands.

Ukraine, Russia, the EU and the US have all made this bloodshed possible.

The Russians have a long and well documented history of these atrocities.

Katyn springs to mind.

They blamed the Nazis back then, too.

I don’t believe any of the crap coming out of that part of the world, once the lies started flying and propaganda was substituted for actual information, I ceased believing either side(s) of this conflict. This “war” smells to high heaven and as long as the combatants keep it in Ukraine or Russia I could care less. The fifteen minutes for this thing is up for me.

But WHY is it war???? What, exactly, did Ukraine do to contribute to the obliteration of their cities? I cannot understand why some Freepers are making excuses for Putin. Kinda reminds me of how “Pizzagate” was served to us from a few of you, and we all know how that turned out.

Or, maybe they were local politicians who talked with the Russians when they arrived, to avoid unnecessary destruction of their city. Maybe she and her husband were Russian speakers, or her brother lives in Russia.

Is it also possible this “mayor” was thus seen as a collaborator by the Ukraine forces who returned to this town, and punished accordingly?

Nobody knows, and UK tabloids probably won’t give us the truth.

How do we know it wasn’t Ukrainian troops that did this?

They have killed politicians accused of being “pro-Russia” and even kill their own peace negotiators.

Erik Latranyi : This is war. You kill people and break things.

According to Putin this is not a war but is a "special operation"....

So then the killing of civilians by Putin's army is an act of terrorism, right?

Blithering idiot + serial-posting propaganda = you.

Globaloid green-eyed goons will NOT stop posting $*** like this until America is full-in with boots on the ground, and they’re funding both sides.

"Ukraine, Russia, the EU and the US have all made this bloodshed possible."

the blame lies solely with Putin.

Ukrainian PEOPLE since the early 2000s have wanted to join the west. They don't want to be ruled from Moscow - and the "they" are both Russian and Ukrainian speakers.

Putin invaded the Donbas in 2014

Putin invaded in 2022 with multiple excuses "neo Nazis" (and that's been forgotten since), then "Ukraine can't join an alliance to defend itself against Russia attacking Ukraine. So let's solve it by Russia attacking Ukraine"

then "biolabs", then "demilitarizing Ukraine" etc. etc.

The Azov battalion of 900 odd folks are in Mariupol. This is on the outskirts of Kyiv

Stop falling for Putin's propaganda.

Azov "affiliated" now? The Azov were in the area of Mariupol.

This massacre by Putin's army happened in Kyiv.

Stop drinking Putin's kool-aid

Agreed, but it is delicious watching Russia be exposed as a toothless bear. The only trump card they have are the nukes, and after seeing how bad their equipment is now you have to wonder if they would even function.

"Nobody knows" and "local politicians who talked with the Russians"

and then you spout more nonsense -- these were not collaborators -- They are just one of many mayors killed by Putin's army

The mayors were noted as being captured at the end of March.

Why are you spreading lies that they were "seen as collaborators"????
