Should help raise prices for our farmers since we are a net exporter of food anyway.
I work at a farmers’ coop. Can’t get half the fertilizer we need, and the price is through the roof. Most farmers bury themselves in debt every year and gamble they’ll make a profit. Lots of them are opting to not take the risk this year with the level of debt they would have to take on.
The price of fertilizer already was high back in November. There are a ton of articles out there talking about the fertilizer shortage that predated this war.
Could the food implosion just happen already? I really would like to eat my popcorn and watch leftists starve
Part of the reason for the millions of illegals streaming across the border is so that they will be roaming the countryside like a swarm of locusts when the grocery store shelves are empty.
When legacy US citizens defend themselves from being robbed by them, the United Nations will declare a humanitarian crisis because white supremacists are slaughtering innocent “migrants” in cold blood.
Then come hundreds of thousands of UN “peacekeepers” to herd the white supremacists into death camps for their safety.
I am not disputing that. I merely said that the price of fertilizer is through the roof and some farmers aren’t willing to bury themselves in that much debt.
Europe voted for this.

At present, most of the food and fuel rationing appears to be limited to businesses enterprizes
along with the encouragement from European governments who wish to remain in the background as shortages may occur.
Items that seem to be rationed in Europe include :
eggs, flour, and dairy products - Spain
flour and sunflower oil (for cooking/baking)-Greece
Fuel (heating - Germany, which is primarily restricting heaviest users, and relies 55% of natural gas from Russia)
Fuel (transportation) which will impact on the already crisis in the supply chain turmoil)
You can figure it out for yourself because the bulk of humanity remains in "Normalcy Bias" mode,
and figures that all this is accidental, and that things will work out and there will be no catastrophe, just a little inconvenience.
Nothing could be further from the truth as we have experienced a sequence of chaotic situations and castrophies which seem planned, rather than purely accidental.
It is time to use your head, logically, and not use your emotions to direct your activities.

The Central Valley is made up of hard-working farmers and small business people, so of course it votes solidly Republican. That’s the real reason the Dems in Sacramento cut off the water - to force the Central Valley economy into collapse to punish these people. The “small fish” (snail darter) was just a convenient excuse to divert 70% of the Sierra runoff from Central Valley farms and into the SF Bay.

Tough call for farmers because crop prices should be higher than normal. Biden Administration doesn’t care about people who produce things, though. They care more for the leeches who take rather than those who make.
I have to agree with datura on this one. I have worked with U.N. troops before and they would be scared to death over here. Getting them to leave their encampments would be almost impossible, if you could even find a country which would send troops over here.
I know, China. Sending their troops over here for that mission would remove them from keeping their own people quiet. And the families would not like their one baby boy going away to never come back.

On October 22nd last year on I-70 in Missouri we saw charter buses as far as the eye could see heading west.
When we stopped in Columbia, dozens of them were lined up at the mall and restaurants and they were filled with “migrants.”
They’re invisible right now, but they won’t be when the supply chain sputters to a halt.

That is more men/women with long guns than all nation armies combined.
