"I had a patient I was doing a blood draw on see my pronoun pin and loudly laugh to the staff 'She/Her?... I missed his vein so he had to get stuck twice."
A fourth-year medical student at Wake Forest boasted on social media Tuesday about apparently sticking a patient unnecessarily with a needle — all because he mocked her "pronoun pin." K. Del, or Kychelle Del Rosario, a fourth year medical student at Wake Forest School of Medicine, posted to Twitter that a patient was so disrespecting of her pronouns that she intentionally injured the patient during a medical procedure. Del Rosario has since deleted her account.
"I had a patient I was doing a blood draw on see my pronoun pin and loudly laugh to the staff 'She/Her? Well of course it is! What other pronouns even are there? It?' I missed his vein so he had to get stuck twice," Del Rosario said in a now deleted tweet.

Yea, no mental issues with these “pricks”.
Kinda sounds criminal of “them” to do that. At least to me. (Or is it ‘us’?)
Seems to be all the rage these days.. Get offended by words and then it’s acceptable to react with physical violence.
“we are taking measures to address this”. If this had been a med student who ‘misgendered’ she would have be expelled right off the bat.
Criminal battery?
He/she/it should be terminated from the medical program, and pursue a sanitation recycling career. Or maybe become a sewage line inspector.
Outstanding. ...and I can teach him how to repair brakes if he needs a new career.
I had one do this to me. The last time I went, she wasn’t there anymore.
Medicine where the Nazis thrives
I don’t know about that. ‘It’ might be ‘mis-pronouned’ again, and tamper with some brakes, possibly resulting in death.
There is no excuse for deliberately hurting someone in the medical field. This person should be kicked out of medical school.
Unfortunately I think there is WAY more of this in health care than people would ever guess.
Lot of people quietly led to die with plausible deniability because some nurse or doctor harbors a secret hatred of certain groups.
And now we have the health care system explicitly discriminating by policy. Whites denied monoclonal antibodies because of their race, when a minority with exactly the same health criteria is given it.
This is sexual assault. A foreign object was forced into this patient’s body. Why is this “student” not up on rape charges?!
My veins are very small and hard to get to. When I was a kid this one lady tried, I think, 6 times. I was about to pass out from it and so was she. She was shaking by the end. There’s such a variation in quality of work when it comes to taking blood.
The sickos are confident and boastful. Bad times are coming, though, real bad. Life will devolve to horror. Deprivation, pain, sorrow.. real life, real bad.
It is that, yes!
I’d had some bruise me for over a month and others do it so well and so quick, I barely felt it.
I figure when a leftist door dash driver delivers to a Trump bannered home the odds of an adulterated delivery are about 100%.
...and I retract my offer. I read it wrong, and thought that the patient was being a dick. Time to EXPEL that future ‘doctor’, who likely will otherwise make a living cutting the balls off of little kids.
