Here in northeast Georgia,
Daffodils have already bloomed and gone.
Cherry trees, pear trees, spirea, red buds, and forsythia
are in full bloom.

Sub freezing temps in southern PA the last two nights have ensured that the forsythia stay golden and the daffodils don’t go to seed.

Looks like we will have a prolonged colorful spring!

First blooms of any kind in Northeast New Jersey started showing up on trees only about 5 days ago. Cherry trees in the Newark area /Branch Brook park are starting to show some color. The well-below-freezing temps the past three nights will surely have taken their toll, though.
