Hard time paying for exorbitant gas prices but Inslee wants us to buy $40-60K electric cars that cost more to charge than gas.

It's true that you can't afford the car. But your electricity is about 10 cents a kWh and that will get you up to 4 miles. So 40 miles for a buck. Even at half that range, can you go 20 miles on a buck's worth of gas?

But like I said you can't afford the car (never mind the SUV or truck you really need).

The power to charge an EV is more expensive giving the expense of installing a charging unit in your house, then too, what’s the charge rate at a charging station. Using 220/440 power costs more than the 10 cents per kw.
