Maybe it’s me… Why does it seem very odd that, when the country he LEADS is invaded, he doesn’t LEAD his own military to fight off the invaders; rather, he’s traveling the globe begging for everyone and anyone ELSE to stop it for him.

You mean, like FDR dropped everything and ran to man a machine gun in Pearl Harbor after the Japanese bombed it? Like Churchill stormed Normandy on D-Day?

Zelenskyy is leading his military - or have you evidence to the contrary? He is (probably) conferring with his military leaders on a daily basis. He hasn't left the country since the invasion started. That's what I call a leader!

Regards,

[Like Churchill stormed Normandy on D-Day?]

“In true characteristic style, Churchill wanted to go in with the main invasion force of Normandy on 6 June 1944. It was only King George VI that was able to convince him otherwise by saying that if Churchill was going, then he (the King) was going as well. Churchill, after much debate, eventually conceded that this was neither practical nor sensible.”
