Ukraine-Russia war: Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said there was "nothing left" of the strategic post city of Mariupol amid Kyiv’s appeal to Moscow to allow the evacuation of at least 1,00,000 people who want to leave.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said there was "nothing left" of the strategic city amid Kyiv’s appeal to Moscow to allow the evacuation of at least 1,00,000 people who want to leave.

"There is nothing left there. Only ruins," Zelenskyy said of Mariupol, which has a peacetime population of 4,00,000, in a video address to the Italian parliament.

As he was speaking, the city council said Russian forces had dropped two large bombs on Mariupol but gave no details of casualties or damage.

In a video address, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said, "We know that there will not be enough space for everyone, but we will try to carry out the evacuation until we have gotten all the inhabitants of Mariupol out."

Earlier, Zelenskyy said all issues would be on the table if Russia's Vladimir Putin agreed to direct talks to end the war, including the contested eastern regions Donbas and the annexed Crimea peninsula. But he warned his country would be "destroyed" before it surrenders.

Why does the poorest country in Europe (Ukraine) have more than two dozen bioweapons labs scattered throughout their backward country?

What happened to the $2 billion in energy resource income of Ukraine that disappeared into 150 banks around the world?

How much of that ended up in accounts of Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and probably half the members of the House and Senate of the United States?

...rather, he’s traveling the globe begging for everyone and anyone ELSE to stop it for him.

He hasn't left Ukraine since the war started.

According to the article:

The neighbor is now a meme in our house and beyond.

Emails texts from friends saying, “You need to figure out a way to drop a bomb on Putin” and using the phrase randomly on each other .

The best thing to do is to refuse to play the game.

Don’t take a side.

Use logic. There are general rules in nature, and in human nature, but also exceptions.

The logic used by some here is so emotionally warped it only makes sense using a woke filter.

The thing to say to that elderly neighbor is, yes, we could bomb Putin, but he will bomb us back.

Is it worth it?

It may be, who knows, but at least the media should make that certain fact known when they talk about how evil he is.

I’m not saying slink away from righteousness out of cowardice, but understand the entire set of implications.

My 92-year-old father said the same to me, but I brought up the real possibility of WWIII, and he became silent.

He said, “Well, I’m old, so my life doesn’t matter.”

I said, “What about your grand and great grandchildrens life?”

He said, “Oh, yeah. Maybe we need to stay out of it. I just wish the killing would stop.”

I said, “Yes Dad, me, too.”

What a world.

Those trapped there can finally leave because the Azov bastards are no longer alive to force them to stay.

Maybe it’s me… Why does it seem very odd that, when the country he LEADS is invaded, he doesn’t LEAD his own military to fight off the invaders; rather, he’s traveling the globe begging for everyone and anyone ELSE to stop it for him.

You mean, like FDR dropped everything and ran to man a machine gun in Pearl Harbor after the Japanese bombed it? Like Churchill stormed Normandy on D-Day?

Zelenskyy is leading his military - or have you evidence to the contrary? He is (probably) conferring with his military leaders on a daily basis. He hasn't left the country since the invasion started. That's what I call a leader!

Regards,

“My (contrarian) gut is telling me that USA and UK (British) military are already on the ground “advising” Ukrainian military.”

Indisputable.

They have also compromised Russia’s CCC.

The Ukrainians know every move, every intent...even the reasoning for every action.
