“Communists never walk in and make an improvement.”
You’re right about that. But china is further from communism than we are.
The essence of communism is that there is no private property, everything is owned by the state, you cannot own a business or corporation a car or even your own house.
That’s about as far from what China is today as you can imagine. It won’t be long China will have more billionaires than the US and will soon surpass our GDP.
What China is today is a “single party dictatorship, “basically the latest in its long lines of dynasties who has been smart enough to adopt capitalism and let it flourish, which is more than we’re doing in that regard, and the results show it.
While they have gone capitalist economically, they retained the communist party core non representative government.
I still see them as a immunization nation controlling every aspect of their people’s lives.
If you step out of line, you’re toast.
We are headed in that direction too.
What both China and Russia are doing—the exact opposite of the US—is to honor and reward both intelligence and hard work.
We are doing the “third world” thing—poverty for all but a small ruling elite.
