The left loves absentee voting, so I say let’s give it to them. And let’s make it as easy as picking up a scratch-off lottery ticket from the local store. Hell, let them vote on their phones. What could go wrong?

I don’t like the sound of this. Bruce Schneier has had a couple of articles about the many pitfalls of electronic voting for years now. He’s a lefty but he knows the issues, and no one can say he doesn’t know security. I’d trust a voting system designed by him.
