There's always hope.

There have been fall-down drunks and drug addicts who have come to Jesus and then sobered up to lead remarkably productive lives (take Mike Lindell for example). I've seen 'em up close and personal.

There's hope.

This politicization of race has led to a country where most of the violent crime is committed by a single race. This does not help anyone but the politician. It is no consolation that most of the black crime is against other blacks. As Americans, we are called to accept the principle of the great melting pot. I pray that we can ignore these vile politicians.

Not sure I understand. Does he go back to jail to serve the remainder of his sentence if his appeal is denied?

Theoretically, yes. But, he’s not going back to jail. He’s got blak privilege. Plus, he’s a degenerate faggot. They’re a protected species all their own.

He has been released just in time for the Oscars, will be given some kind of honorary award and the audience will erupt in a wild three minute standing ovation.

Smollett was charged with 6 counts of felony perjury for lying to police and convicted of 5 (not guilty on 1). The maximum sentence for each guilty conviction count was 3 years in state prison. The judge sentenced him to 150 days in prison and 30 months felony probation.

IMO, the trial judge has already tied himself into a pretzel with the joke of a lenient sentence. The maximum sentence for the convictions was 5 x 3yr = 15yr if served consecutively. The judge effectively valued each conviction as 30-days in jail. This is misdemeanor conviction range. To me, something along the line of 3-5 years of incarceration would have been in line with the 5 convictions.

It will be real justice if the trial judge is PO’d and increases the jail time to several years. Smollett is opening Pandora's Box with this appeal and resentencing .

I'm not a lawyer but this is my take on things. Lemme know if I'm off base on something.

He did not comment as he got into an awaiting SUV, but his attorneys said he was the target of a racist justice system and people playing politics.

A black fag, hires two black guys to pretend they are white, Trump supporters, pretend to beat him up and pretend to hang him and cover him with bleach and he is the target of a racist justice system?

WTF?

Its good, really it is. First, it drags the whole thing out. The longer he is a felon and out on bail the more marginalized he becomes. He could have done his 75 days, asked for expungement and be done with this. Now he wears it around his neck like an Albatross and he still might have to do the 75 days. It will probably take a year or more. Or, 150 days. And, when he appeals a sentence he runs the risk of getting a harsher sentence. He is not going to get his conviction reversed.

Second, millions of blacks would love to have had their relative or friend out during appeal but did not get it, further emphasizing the schism between elites and blacks.

I hope that at least the felony conviction sticks. I agree that he is probably not going back to jail.
