He said the man is a genius. How is accurately defining and understanding your enemy a bad thing? Or do we engage in wish think and pretend ourselves to another Afghanistan withdrawal?

Even Bill Maher is asking, “If Trump and Putin were so close, then why didn’t Putin attack Ukraine when Trump was president?”

Hillary was in love with Putin.

And Joe said he was a great man, too.

Putin is not our enemy.

When two of my kids challenged me before I voted in 2016, I told them that improved relations with Russia and avoiding war were my top priorities, because deteriorating relations with Russia and war were the two greatest threats to MAGA.

I believed that then, and I believe that now.

Putin is an enemy of the global empire that controls DC, and so am I. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

People like her are not well versed on philosophy, strategy, and tactics. Had she ever read Sun Tzu or Von Clausewitz she would perhaps understand this.

“War is not an independent phenomenon, but the continuation of politics by different means.”
On War - Von Clausewitz

“Know yourself and know your enemy.
You will be safe in every battle.
You may know yourself but not know the enemy.
You will then lose one battle for every one you win.
You may not know yourself or the enemy.
You will then lose every battle.”
Art of War 3:6:1–6

“We say:
Know the enemy and know yourself.
Your victory will be painless.
Know the weather and the field.
Your victory will be complete.”
Art of War 10:5:14–18

Well I think Trump used that term in a figurative sense rather than a literal one. Putin is a “genius” enough to not have tried to pull this off when Trump was in office. He waited for corrupt criminal Joe Bidet.
.These Ghouls and harpies and their bosses fly speck and distort everything Trump says.

I don’t know if he really said that Putin was a genius, maybe it’s just anti-Trump rhetoric, but if so, you have to analyze the context in which it was said. geniuses are not necessarily always good
