I’ve seen the photos of Russia with gallows along a road with women hanging from them. Hundreds. I’ve seen more of what the Wehrmacht and SS did. The Germans supported Hitler and the war in Russia over 90%. They got what they deserved when Ivan came calling.
“I’ve seen more of what the Wehrmacht and SS did. The Germans supported Hitler and the war in Russia over 90%.”
Do you have a source for that 90%? A lot of Germans — including some military top brass — were against the decision for Barbarossa; but, soldiers that they were, they followed orders. A lot of non-military Germans also were against the invasion of the USSR, but they had been cowed into silence. Silence due to fear and terror does not necessarily equate to support.
“They got what they deserved when Ivan came calling.”
Yeah; that’s why I said “What goes around, comes around.”
