Russian prosecutors warned Western companies that criticism of Moscow's war on Ukraine could lead to arrests of corporate leaders or seizure of assets in the country.
Companies that received the warning included Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Procter & Gamble, IBM and Yum Brands, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
The threats came in the form of calls, letters and visits threatening to take legal action....

Here we expect web links, so please let us know when it’s posted. I’d like to read the specifics of the law as my understanding is that it only applies to Fake News put out by the media (which is why CNN had to quickly get out of Russia).
Here we expect web links,

I didn’t think you could support your claim. Sad to see the same tactics being used here as being used by the media.

This discusses the recently enacted Russian censorship law.
The Ukraine is not the only Country being dragged back into the old Soviet Union - Russia is too.
Reminds me of an old Soviet joke. An American was explaining to a Soviet citizen the difference between their countries. The American said "I can go to Washington DC and yell out 'The US President is an idiot!'". The Soviet citizen said "Same here. I can go go Moscow and yell out 'The US President is an idiot!'".

Thanks, I figured he was conflating the censorship law with the right to protest in Russia, which is why he wouldn’t provide a link.
As far as I know, people can still protest in Russia, if they have a permit and aren’t disruptive (similar to the US, although I don’t know how loose they are in distributing permits). That may change in the future, but I haven’t seen anything to that effect, which is why I nicely asked him for a link, as we shouldn’t be disseminating false information here.

Sorry you are so well media trained, like so many other people here that citing things which happened before 2000 (when the internet got rolling), or personal experiences, or links that no longer work, is always met with a similar derision: If there is no link then its a) fake, b) a lie, or c) never happened.
You guys are going to miss a lot of important stuff with that attitude, and I’m beginning to see how you got here in the first place. Which is why, I guess, its your turn to have crap fall on your collective heads, if they all weren’t stuck so deeply in the sand.
They’re just operating like the DOJ.
Russia started doing this as a result of the US doing it to them.
So now are we going to pretend it is only them doing this?
The cancellation tactics were started by the west.
Isn’t right no matter what side does it.
Wow, cable news fair and balanced. I found that FOX gets their news mostly out of the NYT.
CNN makes up their own news.
MSNBC does a full race card check of other people’s news.
This ranks as among the short list of most pathetic posts and thread of comments I’ve ever read here at FR.
Be proud - if it fits - and wear your armbands.

Sorry, but you are the one making claims that YOU CANNOT SUPPORT. So try manning up a bit. I made a claim yesterday that I couldn’t support (came true later in the day, though), but I TOOK IT LIKE A MAN and said I didn’t have the evidence to support it.
It wasn’t hard for me, either.
Russia getting like Canada now!
There has been a big crackdown on demonstrators too.

I’m not denying the arrests, but I also don’t expect CBS to give both sides, such as as whether they were intentionally blocking traffic on a major roadway.
“Hundreds were detained. Ivanova said she was held at a police station for 28 hours, and ordered to sign a statement of guilt.”
Sound just like Jan 6, except replace 28 hours with 14 months.
Ponder this statement by Biden: “Any lawless decision by Russia to seize the assets of these companies will ultimately result in even more economic pain for Russia,” Psaki tweeted. “It will …

Just for the record, Senile Joe has frozen ( stolen) $384 billion of Sovereign Russian foreign currency assets. In days gone by, stealing of sovereign funds would be an act of war. The Ukrainian , Russian and US governments are all corrupted black hats.
Senile Joe has no idea what he has started with sanctions. WW 3 has just started, but it will be fought in financial markets, both sovereign and private.
And with more than half of the world’s population now aligning with the Chinese/ Russian block( soon to be India), the west will be slowly strangled. Stay tuned.
Jen, don’t you remember that these are the people who survived living in the Soviet Union, you know the consumer paradise of the world!
Wow, cable news fair and balanced. So, unless you guys read it on the internet at some link, nothing is real? 😂 😂
OK whatever you say mister I-Wanna-Link.
