Time to break out the “COME AND TAKE IT” flag.
No.
No he won't.
“...In a few years $800,000 USD will buy you a can of tuna.”
A used can.
Wonder why they want you disarmed?
Ah, for the good old days when the Democrats ONLY wanted to register and ban cheap .25 cal handguns. “Rifles will not be affected!”
The lies we have been told over the years...
1962 We ONLY want to register handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1964, We ONLY want to register ALL firearms, not ban them.
1968 We ONLY want to register all guns, and ban the import of foreign Saturday Night Specials, and 5-shot bolt action army surplus rifles! (they got the ban).
1970, We ONLY want to ban small American handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1976 We ONLY want to ban ALL handguns! Rifles will not be affected!
1981, Actress Lee Grant on GMA screams...”THE NRA IS A RIFLE ORGANIZATION! THEY SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR HANDGUNS AND THEY CAN KEEP THEIR RIFLES!”
1984, they made a grab for the rifles, and missed, but played their hand.
1988,Josh Sugarmann, of the National Council to Ban Handguns tells how to ban rifles.
“Assault weapons’ menacing looks, coupled with the public’s confusion over
fully-automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic assault weapons
—anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine
gun— can only increase the chance of public support for restrictions on
these weapons.”
– Josh Sugarmann
Gun owners now know that any time we negotiate with those who want to ban guns, we are up against a stacked deck.
I am, however, grateful he comes out and says this stuff.
That way when an Anti says they don’t want to take your guns, you can just silently point to him.
Unstable to say the least.
They supposedly care oh so much, so why don't they go all OCD about actually caring for people, instead of plotting to separate them from their rightful property?
Two-bit thugs, all.
I always say, the guns I own today are the guns I will die with.
How I die, is up to them.
How does this guy even survive in Texas??
Must be the California transplants ...
Why on Earth does he need the state legislature? Does he have a criminal background which would prevent him from purchasing a rifle under current law?
And why do they say "buy back" instead of just "buy". Did he sell the rifles in the first place?
Yeah I know what is meant, but the words "buy back" the way Beto and similar minded people think of it implies that the rifles are somehow always really the rightful property of the government...just like all taxable income is...and they consider all income taxable. It is just a control freak/tyrant mentality at every level.
Good point. He is plausible enough to be a good fundraiser.
Liberals nationwide dream about turning Texas “blue” thus making America permanently look like California.
Beta is savvy enough to tap into these dreams and generates massive campaign cash from rich liberals like Hollywood and Wall Street.
It’s important to understand that he’s actually helping our cause by incinerating campaign cash that could go to winnable races.
Gun confiscation by Mexico was one of the reasons Texas declared independence from Mexico in 1836.
With who’s money?
ya’s cain’t “buy back” what ya’s ain’t sold duh foist time!!
wi’t duh advotizement d’at d’oze ookraineese b’in doin’ w’it d’at a-k-whachadingy, ah’s s’poze d’at dum beeto-nutjob iz gonna not git many, an’ folks jus’ might start buyin’ mo’ o’dem!!
He can buy the bullets.
One at a time.
Another jerk with no self awareness. These people have no idea how stupid they appear to others. Same goes for people wearing Covid masks. Dorks.
Good comeback! He can’t afford mine.
come and get them, Beto... you limp-wristed commie sack of shit. I REALLY HATE this guy.
I have some aluminum billets in the back yard.
Ghost ARs, you know.
Will he buy those, too?
