The Ukraine war is good news for Democrats because it distracts from their unpopular domestic issues, an article in Politico magazine argues.
“Dems catch a break from the culture wars: War in Ukraine and the domestic economic fallout have given Democrats a chance to focus there instead of on other issues that dominated 2021,” read the headline on the lead story by David Siders and Elena Schneider in the Saturday morning layout at Politico’s website.

Remember in November.
The MOM movement is strong and growing. The RATs are going to get hit issue after issue.

Of course.
“Dems catch a break from the culture wars...”
BS. This is all planned. COVID is history and failed to initiate The Great Reset. So let’s start WWIII.
Yeah, that’s the ticket!
the distraction is from the following:

mass formation psychosis simply shifted from “covid” to “putin” and people who should know better fell for it.
Wishful thinking. People know who is in power. Only problem is Republicans will reach across the aisle to give the rulers a handjob during the election. They will run ads full of nebulous nothing.
It’s sad when the Dems hope for war to distract from their insane domestic policies.
Its standard procedure out of Machiavelli.
There is nothing new under the sun, save for technology.
Yes, yes it does.
Breitbart can’t decide which way to swing, it seems. This week it’s ‘right’...
I would t count on a war in Ukraine distracting Americans for very long.
The weenie deep state is in disarray. Even the neo-con wimps on FR sense it.
“...unpopular domestic issues...”
There is a lot more than that. The continual failures of the Biden administration have been displayed in Afghanistan, the treatment of Iran, the continuing purchase of fossil fuels from Russia after destroying out ability to be self sufficient, the inability to stay on one answer to the covid 19 issue to include not verifying it’s “escape” from Wuhan, and the destroying of the economy creating record setting inflation highs and lying about the supply lines drying up.
But here’s one you may not have heard about and it directly effects the efforts of the administration going green with electric vehicles:
How Hunter Biden’s Firm Helped Secure Cobalt for the Chinese
The president’s son was part owner of a venture involved in the $3.8 billion purchase by a Chinese conglomerate of one of the world’s largest cobalt deposits. The metal is a key ingredient in batteries for electric vehicles.

They got by the Ukraine thing just by the skin of their teeth with Joe protecting Hunter’s job and investment. But this one is written by the NYT and they are far from a liberal attack dog. The other two of the three Americans that are involved with Bohai (BHR) are Devon Archer, a criminal that has been jailed for perjury and bond fraud, and Christopher Kerry, son of John Kerry and Archer friend from college.
Prior to that, Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz, father John later to be secretary of state, were creating was an international private equity firm. It was anchored by the Heinz family alternative investment fund, Rosemont Capital. The new firm would be populated by political loyalists and positioned to strike profitable deals overseas with foreign governments and officials with whom the US government was negotiating.

So John was using his position to get information on the possible purchase of products or stock investment for select people. I’m not sure on the laws, but I believe that relates to inside trading.
