If the Ukrainians were really capturing light and heavy mortars then why, given their knowledge of the terrain, weren’t they attacking the stalled “forty mile long” column just north of Kiev. The NVA and the VC would have been relentless in attacking such a target with mortars and sappers. Makes you wonder. Apparently that column has now deployed for combat.

Sometimes, occupying an apartment surrounded by noisy tenants is a heck of a lot more tortuous than moving into it. I think both the US and Russia learned that lesson in Afghanistan. Apparently, both of us are slow learners. I have no idea how Putin thinks he is going to occupy a building with 40 million angry tenants with semi automatic rifles stuffed under their mattresses with a mere 190,000 troops.

The “stalled” 40 mile-long convoy has begun to encircle Kiev.

Easy. Most know their gov is corrupt to the core and won’t fight. Each day more and more truth gets out that backs up Putin’s claims. It never should of come to war, but Ukraine leadership doesn’t care about its citizens.

I think that Putin had the wrong assumptions:

1. A majority of the Ukrainian people would welcome the Russians.
2. Europe wouldn't have the resolve since they were buying and desperate for Russian Nat Gas because of their stupid green energy policies.
3. Joe Biden is an old senile doofus and America are easy.

NEW: US believes Russia dispersed its stalled 40-mile long military convoy to protect itself from Ukrainian attacks: senior US defense official.

But Russian vehicles remain stalled. “They’re not going anywhere,” SDO said. “It’s not like they’re off-roading their way to Kyiv.”

Read the stalled convoy has taken cover under trees and in residential areas to avoid being attacked.

And why are you so soft on Putin. Ukraine never threatened to invade Russia

Putin is a murderous KGB general. His desire is solely to return to the glory of the former Soviet Union

Every single destroyed tank I’ve been shown has been purported to be Russian from Ukraine. Who knows? I’ve clicked on YouTube “video of Russian convoy destroyed” to find a realistic digital representation of what a Russian convoy being destroyed would look like. Are our media handlers releasing any video or representations or even reports of the actual destruction of anything Ukrainian but schools, maternity hospitals, apartments and nuclear plants?

From CNN:

“The satellite images show that some elements of the convoy have “repositioned” into forests and treelined areas near Lubyanka, Ukraine, according to Maxar. The satellite images were taken at 11:37 a.m. Kyiv time (4.37 a.m. ET) on Thursday.

Just north of the Antonov Airbase in Hostomel, Ukraine, Russian military vehicles are seen sitting on roadways in residential areas in the town of Ozera — 17 miles northwest of Kyiv. “

I agree with you. It is tough to side with one of America's enemies. But what we are really doing is siding with truth.

And after years of being the poked at with a stick by just about every woke group in the United States, conservatives have the right to be a little cranky and bite back. Clearly these same woke groups are not our friends. They hate us. But they'll be the first to send your kids off into a war.

Remember that they have reminded us that America sucks for years. Well they have convinced me. The America that they want it to be does suck. When they are indoctrinating our kids on deviant sexual behavior, telling little children that white people are evil, and on and on. Ya, that kind of America sucks and maybe the chickens have come back to roost. Remember too that it won't be those elitists who will be fighting in a war, it will be our kids.

In a pinch, and if asked to defend these people I would have second thoughts. However, I will defend the US Constitution, my family, and my friends and the traditional America that we knew and loved.

This encircling maneuver was a desperate attempt to avoid ambush like we saw the other day.

I believe it will prove to be a horrible tactic. Now, the units will be separated and isolated, and much easier to attack by small units of Javelins.

I started down the list and it looks 90-10 Russian. Who’s providing the pictures? More BS. I used to read about Russian Su 25s and Ka 52s. Did the ghost of Kiev shoot them all down? I guess the US pilots are just smarter. I’ve seen actual video of an American convoy under attack when the Warthogs and gunships show up. The crap the west is shoveling would make Baghdad Bob blush.
