And sooooooo, stopping ordinary people’s Teslas is gonna stop Putin.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Soon you won't have to imagine it, it will be all too real.
That future could be next week.
I guess I’m very plebeian, but I don’t know why anyone would want that car in the first place.
(Especially in Russia! How far can they drive and still find a charging station?)
It comes down to a business decision.
How many teslas in russia versus how many russia hating potential customers everywhere else?
There everywhere here. Nice cars. They work well in Southern California. They’re not cheap though!
Who would buy a car that can be deactivated remotely?
He won’t and he shouldn’t. But it would be INSTRUCTIVE to people if he did, as it would help show them what government can do, as their power continues to increase (and we have to thank Prime Minister Blackface for helping to let people know what banks can do).
Give Twits an inch and they’ll take a mile
Yeah. People who live on my level can never afford them - and wouldn’t want to anyway.
#26 - Good one. 😄
A deactivated car is an insurance job car. Just saying.
And this is why you dont want teslas or any kind of “smart” device in your home.
mob rule deciding to do something to people they don’t like because of “association” or a certain degree of separation
these people will be highly influenced by whatever government and their societal circles tell them
Under the right circumstances I could see my wife getting an electric car. She only drives 18 miles round trip to work so recharge mileage isn’t that big a deal. We just can’t afford any new car right now!
And people wonder why others like me don’t trust technology.
Musk did respond...he said he doesn’t support banning anything. But believes in free speech.
If that occurs, then kiss Tesla goodbye. No one would want to buy one.
The bigger picture is that such cars could be shut off—an excellent reason never to buy such vehicles.
Who knows when the political elite will decide to cancel you?
Same here. I think for this reason alone, Elon probably won’t
press down on that STOP button. He would be confirming the worst nightmare of all who never wanted an E-Car in the first place. “If you drive an Electric Car, you will no longer be the only one controlling it’s movements.”
